They are an Irish band that started out in the 90's. The main genre that they play in is Alternative Rock though they do celtic rock, indie pop, and folk.

i love zombie and linger. they're both great songs. i havn't heard much else from them but i still think they're a pretty good band.

Oh wow... blast from the past, lol. I used to listen to them. Their Zombie video was pretty awesome with all the gold paint.

Oh man, I looooove the Cranberries. "Linger," and "Animal Instinct" are awesome songs, but I really cant' think of a single song by them that I DON'T like.
If you like The Cranberries, check out Delores O'Riordan's solo stuff. I daresay it's even better than the Cranberries, but definitely a little different. Some good songs by her as a solo artist are "Ordinary Day," "When We Were Young," "In the Garden," and "Human Spirit."
