have any of you guys read her work? she has written the other boleyn daughter, constand princess, the virgin lover (not a smut book i swear).

pretty much she writes things that revolve around the tudors... they are all well written and if you like that time period you must read them...

I love Philippa Gregory's books. Her process is absolutely amazing. She write fictional novels that are so true to historical facts!

I love Tudor history.
I just bought The Other Boleyn Girl, and I can't wait to read it!

^ The movie is coming out this Friday! I'm so hyped. I've been waiting for this movie for soooo long. They made a made-for-tv one in Britain, but it didn't look like it was made very well.

Mhmm I'm probably going to watch the movie in march break, so that gives me enough time for me AND my sister to read the book.
^^ Can't wait.
The girls look awesome, but I really dont like the king.
I kinda wish it was Johnathan Rhys Meyers, but maybe I've been watching a bit too much of The Tudors.

xP

But I love the girls, they totally fit the era, they look great,

I didn't really like that the guy who plays King Henry looked right, either, but I HATE Rhys Meyers in the part as well.

In all fairness, I haven't seen the movie, so I can't account whether Eric Bana acts the part, but I wanted them to cast a man who actually looks like King Henry for once. Even in his youth, King Henry was a larg man. He wasn't fat, but he was stocky and just large in general.

As far as the Boleyn sisters, I don't think that any one could portray Mary better than Scarlett Johansen. For Anne, though, I feel that Anne Hathaway would have fit the part much better. I like Natalie Portman and feel that she is a great actress, but she is much too beautiful and curvy to be Anne. Anne had more of an akward, lanky look about her that was considered unattractive in that time period. It would be much more realistic if they had cast some one with that frame.

I just finished reading The Other Boleyn Girl, and it was amazing!!! Love it, but about the movie I think they did okay with the casting.

I honestly think Natalie Portman is an okay Anne, as everyone else, movies aren't as exciting as the books though, at least that's how I see it.

I'm so dragging my friend with me to see it this friday, I'm off this friday night YAY!!!
