Possible the joke shop. I hope they don't but really that scene has no importance to the main plot. I think they should wait until book 7 is released before writing the script. _________________ Please help me with my HSC major work by filling in this quick survey:
but I don't think they can leave out the joke shop...because thats when they follow draco to borgin and burkes. we'll probably just get a tiny glimpse of it though.
I wonder how they are going to introduce Narcissa since they didn't have her in the GoF movie. how hard would it have been to get some random blonde woman, not even have her say anything? Lucius could have just said "Come along Narcissa" and the movie watchers would have gotten the point. But now...they're going to be like "who is this chick?"
I hope they don't leave out Luna's commentary, but they probably will. Because they'll probably leave out Quidditch again. _________________

The scenes they'll take out are most probably the first chapter, as it's not that important. Spinner's End is going to be shortened. Then it'll skip to Dumbledore entering Harry's house. They apparate immediately, but not before Harry sees his mangled hand. So on and so forth.
I'm going to be livid if they take out Quidditch in this movie. It has great importantce to the plot.
Oh, and following tradition, this movie will be longer than OotP, since it has less book pages. /sarcasm
I hope they don't leave out the Lavender/Ron/Hermione triangle. That was important in the book and really pushed Ron and Hermione closer to a relationship.
They better not leave out the whole part where Ron and Harry walk in on Ginny and Deal and the whole fight and Harry sticking upp for Ginyn cuz he finaly realizes helinks her and he grabs ron against the wall for him to step trying to hex Ginny..
And of course the Harry ginny kiss BETTER be there _________________ Harry and Ginny 4 ever!
Well, casting for Lavander started last week, so we know at least a part of that love triangle will be in it.

Stop throwing your tomatoes at me, I found the link on the Leaky Cauldron, I think. It wasn't one of the links they had, I clicked on a link to a different interview and eventually landed on that one.
Ok, what I think they'll leave out...
Dobby. Again. Poor Dobby.
Ron being poisoned. They don't really need that. Because it involves Ron. And anything that involves Ron automatically gets left out.
Hagrid's hut on fire and rescuing Fang. Too horrible.
The Hogsmeade trip. Katie will probably float up in the common room or something. Only it'll be Hermione because everything good goes to her.
The beginning with the Dursleys will be shortened.
The part at the Burrow... the whole part at the Burrow. Including all of Fleur. Yep, no Bill/Fleur.
Percy still won't have any lines. SO all the moviegoers are left in the dark as to who the uptight prat is. Shhh... it'll be our little secret.
Tonks and Lupin's love issues. They'll probably just be together without the drama that comes before it.
Amortentia. Because it only played a part when Ron ate the candy. And since I'm sure his poisening will be taken out (because he's Ron and gets all of his stuff cut) then there is no reason for him to eat the candy. Because candy led to him needing Harry to take him to Slughorn's office. With no poisening, there will be no need for Amortentia.
So no need for Romilda.
Felix Felicis. Because who needs luck when you have no plot.
The Greenhouse scene, because it's my favorite scene, and the filmmakers hate me.
The Slug Club. Pshhh, it was really only there to emphasize the Malfoy's downfall. And since Lucius wasn't arrested in the last film (that we saw) we don't really need it.
So also must go the Christmas Party.
McLaggen who? You don't need McLaggen, there won't be any Quidditch.
Ginny didn't even seem to be having a relationship in OotP, why have one in HBP? Harry doesn't get jealous of Dean, he gets jealous of Arnold, the Pygmy Puff.
But since there will be no Arnold (poor Arnold) then Harry won't get jealous of anyone. He won't even like Ginny.
He'll like Luna. Because David Yates likes to see them hold hands. For no reason.
Snape won't kill Dumbledore. DD will trip and fall over the side of the Astronomy tower. Buckbeak will swoop in at the last minute and save him!
I'm a little upset at some of the things they left out in previous films. _________________

Uh, er, aren't they having auditions for Lavender sometime soon? They can't leave that out. I mean, they left Krum/Hermione in, in GoF. The Lavender story is a plot that pushed forward the Ron/Hermione relationship. And if JK is involved in the next movie like she was with the new one, she wouldn't let them leave it out. It's her story after all.
I bet everything (explinations, pensieve moments and such) will be cut in half at least, if not 3/4.

Fort the movie goers, meaning the people who only watch the movies and not read the books, this is going to be very confusing for them if Dobby just reappears after not having seen him since the second film. I wonder if they'll even remember him.
