Im not sure if it's been mentioned before but what do you think Of Cho and Harry as a couple? I think not since harry caught her off the rebound and she wasn't over Cedderic. As an addition When she kissed harry she was crying.

I'm neutral about Cho. I think she's an alright person. I accept she's grieving, but basically she's great, and will come round in her own time.
The timing is the killer here. Harry and Cho just didn't stand a chance because of their timing.

cho reminds me of lana lang in smallville (luv that show! great harry potter references). she's fated to be unhappy for the rest of her life and she always seemed unhappy or weepy around clark, which totally pissed me off because clark like harry deserves somebody who will make him happy, u no wat i mean *cough luna cough*? cho wasn't the right one for him anyway, considering he barely got to know her and he already got the hots for her.

In the 5th book it also says he looked up at cho and felt no feelings or swooping sensations at all for her.

Cho is good looking and a great Quidditch player.
Cedric dated her, so she's got a lot going for her. Harry wanted to date her and take her to the Yule Ball.
But being so good looking, and capable isn't everything in life.

I think that's JKR foreshadowing Harry/Luna.
It makes it easier if everyone already knows that Ron *approves* of Luna. Harry would find it difficult to go out with someone Ron disapproved of.
In fact, iMHO that's one of the biggest give aways that it's Luna for Harry's girlfriend.

i mean even the in the ootp movie, they put in every possible luna/harry scene there is even that handholding scene at the end (and THAT WASN'T EVEN IN THE BOOK...SCORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). if jkr didn't want a little someun someun to happen wit those 2, she wouldn't allow all those scenes in the movies. and if she really wanted ginny and harry together, she wouldn't have agreed to just the 3 lines ginny had (plus spells)
by the way, jkr had said that she thought she would lose some fans after hpb, so obviously, the wierd shipping and writing in the 6th one was planned, just to add up to the BIGGER PICTURE...dun dun dun!

Theres a lot of things put in the book that wasn't suppose to be. That doesn't prove anything. The movies are always there own way and not by the book.

Yes, definitely Luna is planned as Harrys *girlfriend*.
I think the films are more *advanced* than the books. JKR even admits that they start things 2 films earlier, than she can in the books, so this is a dead giveaway for Luna/Harry.
So the fact that Luna/Harry is *in* the films, says everything.

Don't you think Harry feels to awkward towards Luna though. i don't doubt that they can be partners i just question the fact whether he really likes her or not and weather or not he would feel comfortable around her. hmm i can really see them being together i don't doubt that (i know I'm repeating myself) but i just don't think j.k would put them together. it would be a great twist but i don't think j.k does that much. But like you said before sallyann she is REAL and would want to be with Harry for his "fame".

You see that's where we differ on what we think JKR is upto. I think she's foreshadowing Harry/Luna.
Luna has *emerged* fully formed out of nowhere. She's dreamy and not at all someone you'd think "famous" Harry would date. She's not cool. Isn't that a great message for JKR to send out. You don't have to be cool!!
Harry's always laughing around Luna, he can't help it. Is he laughing at her or with her? I don't think Harry knows yet.
Ron is laughing at her commentary. She's so off beat that she's lovable.
Ron's shouting at Harry - you could have taken anyone, ANYONE, and you choose loony lovegood?
She fights well. She answered the call of the Order. Ginny didn't fight well, but Luna did, and even helped up Neville at the end.
Plus she's a ravenclaw, she's sharper than we think!!
