In a school name Bloomsfeild High School, something wicked is hiding in the basement. Something evil is hiding and it;s called The Grindlewick. If you read a book called The Grindlewick,then you nightmares have just begun. It will steal you away in the night and will toture you until IT gets It;s book back.

Chapter 1: The Begging Of The End

"Kristy,Kristy wake up!" yellled Brain Vander trying to wake his sister,Kristy Vander.After afew minutes of skaking,and screming she finaly woke up."What do you want?" asked Kristy with a yawn."It's the first day of High School remember?" said Nick Vander coming into Kristy's room and sitting at the edge of her bed."Mom says breakfast is almost ready."Okay." said Kristy as she got out of bed. As she past Brian she tapped him on the shoulder and then headed straight for the bathroom.She entered the bath room and started to brush her hair. As she brushed her hair she sang her favorite song,Hollywood by the Jonas Brothers:
As time was ticking.
We were winning.
And it all was going as planned.
Politicians stand between the lines
Of making headlines, street signs
Saying you're going the wrong way.

As she finished signing she smiled at herself in the bathroom mirror.
As she started to brush her teeth she heard her mom call:"Are you ready
yet?". "Almost." she called back. And then she started to brush her teeth."Okay,done." she said to herself.Kristy left the bathroom and headed for the kitchen.She went down her curvy stairs and found her self face-to-face with her older sister, Gabby Vander. "Hay sis." she said, and moved out of the way to let her pass."Just so you know,there's and old book in the Bloomsfeild Basment,and I think you might find it interesting."
"Okay."
"Good luck."
"Thanks,Bye." she said and Kristy went into the Kitchen for some toast."'Ello Mom." said Kristy with a britsh accent."Hello Kristy." she greeted back."What do you want for breakfast?" she asked. "Just toast." she said with a smile. Kristy's mom,Emily, went to the toaster and but two peices of toast in.
"So today's your big day." said Emily with a tearful smile.
"Yup." said Kristy carelessly.
"Four years from now you'll be in collage."
"Yup."
"One day your just gonna....fall."
"Yu-wow Mom, I'm just going to High School,not writing My Will." said Kristy fastly.It's the Begging of the End. thought Kristy,thankfuly Kristy's mom didn't here her. "I know, It's just that your growing up so fast." she said taking out the toast from the toaster. "Whatever" she said carelessly again. "Mom,do you know where my slids are?" asked Kristy looking under the table."I think Kevin left them outside." said Kristy's mom handing her a plate filled with toast."Thanks." said Kristy. She took a but then looked at the clock. "I need to get ready!" yelled Kristy and she ran to her room almost falling down the stairs."You have a half-an-hour." yelled Mom from downstairs."Thanks." she yelled back. She oped her closet and tried to find her favorite tup-top and her favortie white jeans."Where are you?" asked Kristy to herself ramimg through her closet. After afew minutes of looking Kristy finally found her black jeans.There you are,she thought.Kristy closed her room door and put on her jeans."Now to find the shirt."said Kristy to herself.She shoved her hands in a pile pf clothes and grabed something soft and silky.And instead of finding her tub-top she found a light blue,glitter decorated, short-sleeve-shirt.O-well she thought to herself."She took of her pajama shirt and put on her new silky one."Are you almost ready?" Kristy heard her Mom call."Alomost." said Kristy fastly.She took out her matching beads and put her hair in a side ponytail. "Ready!" Kristy shouted to her Mom, and sh left her room."Heres your bookbag." said Gabreille handing her her new bookbag. "Thanks." said Kristy."Good luck you guys." yelled there Mom as the left the door."
"Bye Mom."
"Se ya."
"By Gab."
They all finished saying there goodbye's and left the house.The Vander kid's walked onto the pavement and Krisy saw her friends: "Gabrielle and Kasey Hunter."Wait up Kris!" yelled Kasey as she and her sister ran toward Kristy. "'Bout time." she said sarcastically. "Well Gab had to change her outfit.....again." said Kasey sadly."Can we just leave?" asked Gabrielle. "Fine." said Kristy. And the three best friends walked to Bloomsfeild High School.

Chapter 2: The Grindlewick
"Where finally here." Kristy said walking into Bloomsfeild High School football feild."Ohhh look!" squealed Kasey pointing."It's the football team." she added."Your right." said Gabreille. The trio were walking to the school when a girl came up to them and Kristy saw she looked sort of sad."Excuse me." said the girl. "Im Addie Reyond,have any of you seen a light blue purse?" she asked.
"Nope."
"Sorry."
"We just got here." said Kristy. "But we could help you find it." she added. "Thanks." said Ann.As the four of them looked the feild. Brian came out of nowhere."Looking for this?" he asked handing Addie a light blue purse."Thanks!" squealed Addie."Where did you find it?" she asked."End of the feild." Brian said.There was afew minutes akward slince,and during those minutes Brian and Addie seemed to be.....Gazing at each other."Come on guys!" yelled Nick from the other end of the feild.The five of them walked to Kevin,and the Kristy was wondering.Why was Kevin here."What are you doing here?" asked Kristy with a sort of attitude."Westridge is just afew blocks away." said Nick."Riiiight." Gabrielle said."Can we just go? I don't want to be late on the First day on school." said Kasey angrier."Whatever." said Kevin."I have to go.So bye guys." said Nick walking away.
"Bye."
"Se ya."
"Ta-ta!"
"Good luck,Nick."
They all finished saying there goodbye's to Nick and the entered the front door of Bloomsfeild High School.As the five entered Kristy heard four jaw drop,Kristy couldn't help herslef,she was so surpried that her jaw dropped to."Wow!" murmered Addie."I--." said Kasey but then Gabrielle cut in. "Don't--." she said but then Brian cut in.
"Belive it." he said."Well see ya." and her left the four of them gapping at the school."Wow!" repeted Addie. _________________
