In the past two days, two threads were locked in the Leaky Cauldron by a moderator with no reason why, one of which was unlocked by DarMonkey because he couldn't see a reason as to why it needed to be locked.

Can all moderators please post a reason why a thread is locked? Otherwise, it confuses a lot of us, and doesn't do much to prevent others for making the same mistake that might get yet another thread locked. Besides, it looks like that is what DarMonkey wants anyways.

Anytime a thread is locked, there must be a reason, I'll bring it up to others.

I always supply a valid reason for locking topics, if i don't have a valid reason most likely it should not be locked.

Err, well, this actually happened like a month ago or something. One of them was unlocked by Dar.. the other one I can't find anywhere. A bunch were moved from the LC. Anyways, this one was locked the other day for no apparent reason?

I understand. And maybe the author requested a lock?

My point is there was no reason stated.

ok it was resolved, just remember to state reasons for locking who ever locked it and yes i agree it was pointless thread.
