1.he killed his own father
2.he made 7 horcruxes (the most dark magic)
3.hes been killing innocent people for years
4.took contorl over a professor and tried to kill a student (HARRY)
5.is trying to take over the world.
6.killed Harrys parents
7.is trying to kill Harry right now
8.ordered his men to kill Albus Dumbledore
9.had spies all over the place
10. and to top it all off HE KILLS WITHCES, WIZARDS, AND MUGGLES FOR NO REASON AND EVEN KILLES HIS OWN FOLLOWERS EVERY NOW AND THEN!
you know im not sure but if you ask me the nice ship has sailed!

you are probably right but Darth vader killed heaps of people including younglings and not to mention killed an entire planet by blowing it up and said he would kill his only son if he did not join the darkside so DV and V are sort of in the same boat so it could happen but it probably wont

Yeah I know its a million to 1 chance that it would happen but imagine if it did the last paragraph would be like
and voldemort and Harry Potter lived out the rest of there days in happiness, Voldemort who became sort of a father figure to harry helped him with his studies and both enjoyed a nice game of chess once in a while.

Theres a diffrence between Darth Vader and Voldemort. Just look back at there childhoods. At least Vader loved in his past thats what left good in him when he grew. relizing his offspring was alive brought more of the good out of him.
voldemort...never loved anyone has a child. was a loner all his life and never had friends. only followers. there was never good or evil in him. just the lust for power.
voldemort has never felt love and never can. that is his weakness. even dumbledore says it. if you remember when he trys to kill harry has a baby love stops the curse from killing harry.

Found this arguement.... What do you think?
We have seen love in the Ministry of Magic, behind a door in the Department of Mysteries, which cannot be opened. When Voldemort possessed Harry during his duel with Dumbledore, it was the love and emotion inside Harry at the thought of Sirius which Voldemort could not stand. It is also love which prevented Harry being killed by Voldemort in the first place, in the way his mother died to save him. It would be useful to note here that Voldemort can now touch Harry despite this sacrifice. This too, is not without its mysteries:
‘He said my blood would make him stronger than if he’d used someone else’s,’ Harry told Dumbledore. ‘He said the protection my – my mother left in me – he’d have it too. And he was right – he could touch me without hurting himself, he touched my face.’ For a fleeting instant, Harry thought he saw a gleam of something like triumph in Dumbledore’s eyes. But next second, Harry was sure he had imagined it.’- The Goblet of Fire, ch36, The Parting of the Ways
Why would Dumbledore see this as triumphant? A possible theory is that Voldemort now has part of Harry inside him, the part which loves. He has the sacrifice of Lily running in his veins.
If our theories are correct, and it is love which can defeat Voldemort, then he is already victim to his weakness.
