No. she's too cute and soft looking to be Narcissa.

The person who plays her needs to have this "cute, but cold bitch" sort of look.

I thought the girl who played marguerite from Ever After has that appeal but for me I think julie benz who played darla on buffy and angel would be very ideal and would fill the part perfectly!!!

Joley Richardson seems to come to mind when I think of Narcissa. (Trying to ignore Nip/Tuck and focus more on 101 Dalmatians)...her blonde hair, fair complexion, and pointy features seem to fit the bill. She's tall too, which fits coz Lucius is tall.

yeah well cate blanchett would be a good pick but as she is now pregnant I highly doubt we will see her in the role

I'm not a big fan of Naomi Watts, so I'm not holding my breath. I'll keep my faith in the casting director for this one, and hope that she can pull it off.

But I do agree that Joley Richardson would have been a pretty good choice.

Woah, I just looked up Joely Richardson on imdb and other people have posted the Narcissa recommendation on the board. Same info found when I google searched this. One person said McCrory should have been cast as Andromeda and Richardson as Narcissa. Another posted these pics:

I think it's funny that she is going to be Narcissa when she was first cast as Bellatrix in OotP. Hopefully she'll do a good job. Good pictures by the way.
