Was the fluffy white cat in one of the pictures on Umbridge's wall important?
I haven't read the fifth book in yonks so I wasn't sure if I forgot something..

She's just a weird old cat lady. The book had them in there too. I think they did a good job representing her cat fetish in the movie with that.

No but they focus in on that one cat and then when Harry and Hermione want to use the Floo Network and they break into Umbridge's office[I think that's what happens anyways] that cat turns and runs out of the portrait through a cat door.

Yeah, the cat goes to warn Umbridge that they are in her office...I think in the book there is some kind of alarm instead.

Yeah, but she is just a crazy cat lady which is why there were so many cats all over her office.

I read that it started in Britain in the sixties but I live in Aus and everyone knows it here. Where are you from?
