well ok, the plot is not entirely mine... it is based on some freaky story ive heard. i just decided to add a few details here and there, and write the story down, and create a drawing for it.

The clock struck six. Anna was picking which dress to wear. “The black or the red one?” she asked herself. After a few minutes of deliberating, she decided to wear the little black dress. Ten minutes later, she checked her watch. “He should be here any moment now; he said he’d pick me up at six.” She put on her makeup. She deliberately started late so that she could make him wait for about a few minutes. As soon as she had finally put on her lipstick, she looked at the clock; it was 6:20. “He is late; this is a first. He is very punctual. Perhaps it is the traffic.” To kill time, she decided to check her reflection in the mirror, and then went down for some cookies. “Perhaps I should leave some for him, so that I have something to offer,” she thought. So she ate two and left four cookies.

By the time it was 6:45, she was getting really quite impatient already. She kept looking at the mirror and brushing her hair, with nothing better to do. She looked at the wedding portrait of her parents hanging on the wall. “I miss you, Mama, Papa. I am glad you are coming home next week. I hope you are having a great time in Europe.” She imagined how her parents were, how their second honeymoon was. Then her thoughts drifted towards her future husband. Who could it possibly be? Could it be James, the guy she was dating now? Well he was a responsible man, and handsome too. Could it be Chris, her ex-boyfriend? But too much had happened for them to even reconcile. Could it be the class nerd, Andy? Well maybe if she ran out of suitors, and luck.

Then she remembered her friend talking about the little incantation one could recite in front of a mirror to find out who their soul mate was. Curious, she pulled out the little piece of paper from her bag and read it. She was intrigued. So she decided to recite out loud the incantation while looking at the mirror. The devil appeared, with his ugly face, his horns, and his tail. He looked so evil and menacing that Anna paled and quailed. She closed her eyes and recited the Our Father. When she opened them, the devil was still standing there, twirling his tail and making a mockery of the prayer. “Yes, my blushing bride. I will be your husband. You will marry me and bear my children. But I am warning you; do not tell a single soul of what you saw, or you will wish you had never been born.” And with that he vanished.

Suddenly the doorbell rang; James had arrived. But Anna was so distraught that she couldn’t hear it; it sounded so far away. James saw her through the window. She was vomiting. Concerned, he tried opening the door and found that it was unlocked. So he ran to her side and assisted her. Needless to say, the date did not push through. Nevertheless he tended to her, and she was grateful for that. But when he asked her what the matter was, she refused to say.

Many years later, after dating and being together and eventually getting engaged, the couple married. Seven years into their marriage and they had two adorable kids, a happy home, and a considerable amount of wealth. Everything was almost perfect, except for the fact that Anna was no longer the happy woman she once was. One night, James asked her, “Anna, do you remember that time I was late for a date?” Anna couldn’t forget that night. “Yes, I remember. Why do you ask?” Then James responded, “Nothing. It’s just that I couldn’t help but notice that your personality changed ever since that day. I remember you were so distraught. What really did happen that day?” Anna decided that, since he was her husband, and couples shouldn’t keep secrets from each other, to tell him what really had transpired that night. So she told the entire story, of her reciting the incantation and meeting the devil, who forbade her to tell anyone. All throughout the time her husband was quietly listening to her.

After she had told her story, James looked up at her and said, “I thought I told you not to tell anyone?”

so am i... after reading a scary book or watching a scary film, i usually try to be nice to my dog and let him sleep in my room... just because im afraid of sleeping alone... Laughing

I dont know how you can use paint for drawing... I can only draw stick figures there!!!

yeah i did that with paint. never thought it was possible too. but with a few tools you can make it work

lol I liked the story. There is actully an old story where they say that if u go to a mirror at EXACTLY 12 am (MIDNIGHT) and say the numbers "6 6 6", the devil's face will appear. Now I like to think that I don't believe any of that crap but I don't have the guts to do it Laughing

666 is supposed to be the DEVIL'S NUMBER incase you didn't kno Laughing

So that's obviously why sayin that number supposedly summons him. My brother knows a guy wo did it and he sed he can never look into a mirror again. He even got rid of all of his mirrors Shocked

i dont believe it. but, to be on the safe side, i dont. besides, what good would it do to me? ive got other stuff to do with my time, like sleeping, eating, and being bored. Laughing

yeah this one is actually based on some story like that which ive heard... i just altered it a bit.
