I am rereading the Deathly Hallows, and I have noticed something I didn't notice first time around....

In Chapter 5 (Fallen Warror), Harry and Hagrid crash in the garden of Tonks parents. harry passes out and when he comes around he is lying on to the sofa. He asked about Hagrid. Ted replied (Quoted from book - UK copy, pages 58/59) 'Hagrid's fine, son' said the man 'the wife's seening to him now. How are you feeling? Anything else broken? I've fixed your ribs, your tooth and your arm. I'm Ted, by the way, Ted Tonks - Dora's Father.'

How could Ted Tonks mend Harry's injuries, baring in mind that Ted is a Muggle?!?! I thought maybe Quickspell but surely there had to be some magic in you for you to learn? Any thoughts?

He's muggle-born, not a muggle. He's a wizard.

It was a common misconception when OotP came out. I thought the same thing until I reread the book.

I don't have book 5 with me, but in DH Ted Tonks says (overhead by H/R/H in the forest) "Refused to register as a muggle-born on principle."

He was a muggle born wizard, thats why he was on the run (He is out in the woods with the goblins and dean that night that they are catching the fish)
