I was sort of let down when i finished book 7 and didn't get to find out how Voldemort flies around without broom or thestral.
I mean, wands and magic spells, and things like that are great. But, flying around like Superman without any sort of material... Rowling really pushed it.
What do you guys think about You-Know-Who flying?? Far-fetched or just what you would expect an Evil Dark Wizard to do??
It's just what i expected.. Nothing more or nothing less.. I loved the 7th book. although the epilogue was a let down.. other then that it was great..
Voldemort flying was awesome! _________________

there was a lot that we dont know about volde, he was supposed to be very powerful and its possible that before he was destroyed by baby harry that he was powerful enough to fly.
i mean if you live in a culture that magic is an everyday thing to be considered "powerful" you would have to have some sort of thing that no one else was used to.
throughout the series though he was too weak to do anything until the final book. _________________

It had something to do with the wand. Remember when Harry asked if Snape died during the jump? McGonagol said something like "No he still had his wand on him." Leading me to believe it was a certain spell Voldemort and Snape knew.
I highly doubt Voldemort flew like Superman, I imagine him flying more like Magneto did in the first X-Men up to the torch at Liberty Island. _________________ Follow, please follow me home
This won't end like last time
The things you swore, they never made me feel anymore
I imagined it as how it looked like in the 5th movie when theyre all flying through the air as smoke
That's also a good point. _________________ Follow, please follow me home

welll, no doubt Snape picked it up from Volde. as far as what spelll it was... we can never know for sure. originally i thought a flying charm on his clothes. but then, how could he perform that within seconds before he wanted to take flight.
Voldie had been planing his evil overtake on the wizarding world ssince he found out he was a wizard. It would have been one of the powers he wanted and he would therefore spend his whole life persuing the answer! Think of all that time in albania to research - well wormtail to research! _________________

The real deathly hallows - pumpkin juice, a love potion and a deadly pygmy puff!!!
How far-fetched is it? I think brooms were mentioned to be normal, muggle brooms that were enchanted with flying charms. Why couldn't Voldemort just do that to himself? _________________
...she let go of the swing at the very height of its arc and flew into the air, launching herself skyward with a great shout of laughter and soared like a trapeze artist...
I'm not sure if that's an exact quote because I don't have my book with me...but it sounds more like flying than merely cushioning one's fall. _________________
Snape = ♥
yeah Lilly did fly a little, but I guess with voldemort its different you know, like flying is something that only powerful wizards can do, cuz remember lilly was very talented in school, beign part of slugh's club and all. _________________
I dont understand how you could be let down, because in all the books they kept talking about how voldemort was no ordinary wizard. The fact that he was flying did not surprise me one bit.
it always made me laugh to picture voldy flying
hey it must be scary in real life... he can get to places faster
but it just made me giggle dont ask why lol
so yeah it didnt disappoint me.... _________________

i wonder if he did something like severus, being an unregistered anamagi or something, because it says he was like a great bat in the distance. _________________
But underage witch and wizards are only supposed to be able to do accidental, uncontrolled, inaccurate magic and it was amazing that Tom could control his, surely Lily may have had the some special skills because I don't think she'd be able to use a cushioning curse without a wand.
