Severus sat alone in a fully furnished Ministry prison cell, on the comfortable bed, crying his eyes out. He had been here for three days, and he felt like all hope was lost-classes were taught by a horrible Ministry man who scared him half to death, Severus didn't think that he could handle it for another six months. His heart had lightened slightly, because at that moment, the clock struck midnight.

Saturday... He thought, a smile spreading through the tears. Lily could come visit...

He smiled again, looking out the bay window from his cell... of course, it was enchanted to show a beautiful moonlit forest, and Severus knew that, but it made him feel quite a bit better. He stared for the next few minutes, the tears drying from his face, he was calm for the first time in the last three days. He fell asleep smiling, happy to finally have hope that someone would care about him, see him, love him.

The next morning was brilliant, the bright enchanted sunshine from his window warming his sallow skin. He brushed his black hair out of his eyes, walking to his door. The usual breakfast stood there, still at the perfect temperature. He took the eggs, toast, and bacon back to his bed, digging in immediately. For some reason, he felt extremely happy today... happier than he had felt since this ordeal started. He wondered to himself if Lily would come to see him, or if Hogwart's students had even been informed that they were allowed to visit.

He looked down at his clothes, a pair of Muggle jeans and a black t-shirt... simple, but quite fitting for him, he had always loved Muggle clothes. He took a sip of his peach nectar, spilling it down his front when the door burst open.

"Severus!" He dropped his plate next to him, embracing Lily gratefully. "I've missed you, Hogwart's isn't the same! It must be horrible here!" She still hadn't let go of him, he still hadn't let go of her.

"Lily..." He paused, not sure what else to say, "you came..."

"Well of course I came Sev! Did you expect me to leave you to your lonesome in this gaudy prison cell?" She giggled, finally letting go of his neck and sitting down next to him on the bed. "Actually, this is nice, for prison."

"Yeah... they're spoiling me." He smiled slightly at her, happier now that she was here. She made everything right. She giggled at his remark, scooting closer to him.

"I was really worried when I didn't see you at breakfast, I went to ask the headmaster where you were... James scolded me, but I don't care... I couldn't help but sneak off today to see you." She smiled brightly at him, he was surprised that she had went against dear James' wishes.

"Well... thank you." He blurted out, blushing profusely. "Well... I can't go anywhere out of this cell, so, you can go..." He looked at the floor, not daring to meet those emerald green eyes.

"No, I wanna stay with you, I wouldn't have come if I didn't. Relax, Severus." Her last sentence startled him, it was as if she was in his mind.

"But-how-"

"Shh... it doesn't matter." She smiled at him, and for the first time since she had burst into the room, every muscle in his body relaxed.

Wow! we already on chapter 10??? seems like only yesterday i read ur first chapter and got hopelessly hooked Razz
