I never read the book and there were some things in the movie I didn't understand.
-Why did Shacklebolt come with Fudge to arrest Dumbledore if they are allies and both part of the order of the phoenix?
-Ron's older brother was in a suit and holding Harry in Dumbledore's office as if unlike the rest of Ron's family, he is on the antagonists side. Why is that?
-Why was the ground's keeper helping spy on Harry and the rest of DA?
-Why was James Potter so cruel to Severus, was Harry's dad a bad guy when he was young?
-After Sirius died, Harry ran after Beatrix by himself and Remis let him go. Beatrix didn't get to far before Harry knocked her down then Dumbledore came in and him and Voldemort did that whole fight thing. What took so long for everybody in the other room to come in? I'd assume they were still fighting but the scene in the film made it seem like the battle was over after Sirius died.
-When Severus entered Harry's mind, the movie seemed like it jumped ahead in time to Ron's family's christmas party and celebration on Harry saving him and went through a couple more scenes forward in time and all of a sudden it jumps back to Severus reading Harry's mind. I don't understand what happen there.
-What was Harry talking about when he told Severus "He's got padfoot at the place where it 's hidden"?
-Sirius talked about Voldemort looking for a weapon that he "didn't have last time". Is he talking about Harry's prophecy orb? If so, what was Voldemort going to use it for, I didn't pick up on that part.
-Throughout the entire movie I was trying to decide if Umbridge was just a quack who even goes beyond what Fudge intended for her to do at Hogwarts, or if she was in league with Voldemort. There are parts in the movie where she seems pretty evil.
-After Voldemort left Harry's potter, he was standing there talking down to him with sort of a dusty glitter surrounding him. In a shot where Dumbledore is looking into it, there's nobody in there. In the rest of the shots, Voldemort's standing in there. It made it seem like Voldemort was using a spell so that Dumbledore couldn't see him inside that barrier. However, when Fudge and company starting comming through the portals and look over they can see Voldemort standing there. Can someone set that straight for me?
-Why did Shacklebolt come with Fudge to arrest Dumbledore if they are allies and both part of the order of the phoenix?
He was an auror, Fudge probably requested that he come and he couldn't have said no without raising Fudge's suspicions.

He believed the ministry, that Dumbledore was lying and had a falling out with the family.

Because Filch is a bitter old man who never got over being a squib. He always takes this out on the students so Umbridge is his natural ally. The real question is why does Dumbledore not get rid of him? If ever there was a squib who should be forced to live as a muggle its Filch. That old SOB.

You find out in later books more details about what was really going on here. The short answer is that Severus was into the dark arts and that James picked on him because of that. Ironically, all the teasing probably made him more interested in the dark arts.

Well I think their part of the battle was over, but Mad-eye, Lupin and Tonks were still probably finishing up some Death Eaters and they would also probably wanna check on the other kids. It is a little odd that none of the adults went with Harry since he is so overmatched by Beatrix. Of course she wouldn't kill him because Voldy wants the honors.

Sounds like a screw up. I think there are 2 occlumency scenes. One before xmas and one after. Those clips were probably meant to be in the 2nd scene.

-What was Harry talking about when he told Severus "He's got padfoot at the place where it 's hidden"?
Padfoot is Sirius's nickname. The place where it is hidden refers to the "weapon" that Voldemort wants that the OotP was talking about earlier in the series. Remember that Snape is in the order and is "in" on those discussions.

He didn't hear the entire prophecy and the "weapon" was information. How to defeat Harry.

She is very evil. There's a quote in the book that is something like "Not everyone who is evil is a Death Eater". She's one of the pure bloods that thinks Voldemort had "the right idea".
-Why did Shacklebolt come with Fudge to arrest Dumbledore if they are allies and both part of the order of the phoenix?
Fudge doesn't know that Shacklebolt is in the Order. Fudge probably made Shacklebolt come along and he did so he wouldn't blow his cover. In the book Shacklebolt helps by using a memory charm on the Marietta Edgcombe, Cho's friends who was the real rat in the story. The movie changed it to Cho.

-Ron's older brother was in a suit and holding Harry in Dumbledore's office as if unlike the rest of Ron's family, he is on the antagonists side. Why is that?
In the book Percy isn't in the Order. He ditches the family before they go to Grimmauld Place.

You mean Filch? I'm guessing you haven't read any of the books... Filch hates kids. Plus, Umbridge's rules help him to maintain order. By the end of the book she manages to bring back captial punishment.

-Why was James Potter so cruel to Severus, was Harry's dad a bad guy when he was young?
He wasn't bad, but yeah he was a bully. James grew out of it and Snape never got over it. That's why he hates Sirius and James and even Harry.

Umm... that was just for drama sake for the movie. In the book Harry goes a lot farther to get to the main hall, not just walk through a doorway. In the book the DEs are roped up and tied. The rest of the Order is busy making sure the rest of the kids are safe, since in the book they were injured.

These were flashbacks. Harry has friends, people he loves. this givs him the edge over Voldemort since Voldemort has nothing worth fihting for except himself. Harry has the will to live and while Voldemort is possessing himn, Harry is able to push him out by remembering his friends.

Padfoot was Sirius nickname amongst his friends. Snape knew of it. Harry was using code so that Umbridge wouldn't catch on.

Yes, Voldemort didn't know what the prophecy was, he wanted t hear it.

It goes back to the line Sirius says... "The world isn't split into good people and Death Eaters." SHe isn't working for Voldemort, she is however, a bigot and wants complete control over Hogwarts so she can brainwash the kids into thinking that Harry and DD are bad and Fudge is right.

He's reappearing and disappearing... it's exactly wahat it looked like.
I hope I asnwered your questions. Now please, read the book, you might really like it! _________________ ^made by Fiendfyre
Haven't been able to get a hold of the books, I'm living off of someone else right now and life has been a little tough.

I see. With the way the film was edited it made it hard to figure out that those things had already happened and just weren't shown. There were no shots that indicated Harry left hogwarts then came back. Sucky thing about films eh, gotta be so short they can't fit all the details in there.
