Quickly, quietly, Lissie crept through the dark passageway. Reaching the portrait of the Fat Lady, she whispered "moonbow". Looking annoyed, the Fat Lady stared at her with a look of incredulity. "You're not a Gryffindor!", the Fat Lady said, "You're a Slitherin!" "Moonbow", Lissie repeated. Grudgingly, and with a look of great suspicion, the portrait swung open. Stepping into the common room, she looked around. There was a house elf cleaning off one of the tables by the fireplace. He looked at Liss with a look of complete surprise, then said "You shouldn't be here, miss. Dobby thinks you should go back to your own common room now." "I know", she whispered, trying to keep her voice down, "I'm leaving a gift here for somebody. I'll go back right after, I promise. Just, don't tell anyone I'm here." Dobby looked at her suspiciously, then finally let her pass. She quickly hurried along the corridor and up the staircase. Reaching the top of the stairs, she crept accross the floor and reached the sleeping body. This was it. She was about to do what the Dark Lord never could, and gain fame and glory to her name as a result. She was about to kill Harry Potter...

News about Dumbledore's death had spread quickly. Joe had barely managed to get himself to drift off to sleep. He lay quite still on his back on his four-poster bed, sharing a dormitory with Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley. he stared at the ceiling, the hangings left to allow him visual access to the entire room. Just when he had found a reasonable time to fall asleep, a soft, creaking sound alerted him. Instincts overtaking him, Joe took hold of his wand from beneath his pillow and non-verbally lit its tip towards the rest of the room as he sat up hastily.

Joe suddenly herd a loud thud and clatter, then "Expelliarmus!"
A second latter he heard Nathans voice,"Gryffindors, Gryffindors. Slytherin in Griffindor!"

Austin jumped out of bed and saw a girl standing over Harry Potter. "Expelliarmus!" he shouted the same time as someone else. The spell hit her with so much force, she flew out the window. Glass shattered everyone as the girl was sent flying in the midnight sky.

"Oh my f.... god!" Austin shouted running to the window.

Nathan burst into action.
He runs for the window. "Immobilise" with his wand aimed at the falling girl. "Accio Broom" he dives out the window his his broom close after him.
His broom comes to him and lands underneath him. He than zooms twords the girl and grabs the struggling form. Luckly, she had dropped her wand.

Joe watched Nathan and Austin spring into action. He noticed the girl standing over Harry Potter's bed before an Disarming Charm sent her down a window. Nathan reacted to this after alerting the House. There was a shuffling of feet down in the Common Room as Joe got off his bed and went to the boy's bedside. Whatever the girl was doing here wasn't anything good.

Joe turned around, his wand pointed to the newcomer. Noticing the outfit she was wearing, Joe kept a firm grip on the handle of his wand. "What do you want with him?" The question didn't need to be asked since Joe himself already knew the answer, but he was not going to just step aside and let this happen.

The Cruciatus curse hit Joe, leaving him to scream in pain as he sank to the floor, twitching as he fought to contain himself. The grip on his wand slackened before it rolled onto the floor. Through gritted teeth, Joe said, "I...I won't let you... Lay a finger... on him..."

Just then Nathan makes it back to the window,"Expelliarmus!" He cries out nocking the Deatheaters wand out of his hand. He Makes sure the girl is still unconcious and then moves over to Joe, never exposing his back to the death eater. "What have you done to him you maniacle beast."

Just when his finger had felt his wand, he heard Mortabella disarm him. Cringing in pain still, Joe fought desperately to get up. "Take me..." he gasped, still under the Cruciatus. "...instead of him..." He needed to buy time for Harry. As much as he could sacrifice.

Having learned Occlumency before, Joe blocked the woman from probing his mind quite effortlessly as the spell wore off him before he got on his feet. "I said to take me in his place," Joe said more firmly, bringing his left hand up to her, his palm faced towards Mortabella. "I'll burn you into cinders if you ask where Harry is again," he said dangerously.

Joe was unaffected by the Imperius Curse once he had summoned Kaizer. An orange glow emanated from him as fire erupted from his palm. "Since I had your permission to try it," he said, taking a step towards her. "Prepare to be burned, then." He directed a ball of fire towards the woman, catching her robes in flames, spreading quickly to her face.

Joe chuckled this time. "Maybe it's you who doesn't quite understand the gravity of the situation. First of all, there's no point trying to kill Kaizer because he's not at all visibly able to receive any curse you put on him. And second of all..." He snapped his fingers as a small flame appeared on the tip of his thumb. "I think you haven't realized that what I'm using isn't bound by magic. So any magic in return doesn't really affect me once I've summoned Kaizer out."
