Incidentally, Scrimgeour is my least favourite character.

I think if Christopher Lee was a bit hairier and a bit fatter...

I'm not sure but somewhere there rings a bell that when Dumbledore was recast there were mentions of McKellen or Lee playing the part. But they declined or something like that saying that it would confuse people because of The Lord of the Rings, where both of them played wizards.

However I'm not 100% sure. And Things might have changed since then.

I don't think Ian McKellen has the attitiude/look to be Scrimgeour. I'm all for Christopher Lee.

I think Lee could do the part...but Brian Cox just so incredibly looks it. But I have no idea if he could act it well or not.

I say the part should go to Bill Nighy ...if you don't know who he is he was in love actually, underworld (viktor), and pirates of the carribean 2 and 3 (davy jones)
