Now, I MAY BE WRONG... so don't bite my head off it I am, please.

But didn't harry check the date on the HBP's book but it said it was made long before his parents could have been at hogwarts? But Snape went to school at the same time they did, so.... Confused

I've probably got this all wrong, but I can't find HBP to check and really I'm just too lazy to...

Yeah, that's right. it was snape's mum's copy.
