Hello there.
My name is unimportant. (how's that for textbook enigmatic?)
And it's nowhere near as embarassing as Startibartfast, I assure you.
I have a bad habit of making random references to very distantly related subjects whilst people around me try to make light chit-chat. I'm positively obsessed wiht the Dresden Dolls. Harry Potter is my anti-drug (no, really, it is) and lifeline. Without it, I would die. I really would. I would crawl into a hole in the ground and die. Bad, terrible, apocalyptic things would abound.
My favorite character is Luna.
My favorite ship is Draco/Harry. (don't scream)
I despise Ginny Weasley. I know, I'm senile, can we move on already?
I love the word azkaban. I could say it all day. Azkaban! Azkaban. Az-a-ka-BAN!
Snape is adorable in the funniest of ways.
I am addicted to stripey socks, caffeine, flossing, inhuman noises, candy canes, crazy japanese phenomena, energy drinks, punk cabaret, chaplin films, fanfiction, drawing, inverted photos, crappy youtube art films, piano, edgar allan poe, obsessive compulsive online window-shopping, procrastination, and all manner of unhealthy tooth-rotting foods.
I'm paranoid. I check behind shower curtains before I pee and inside the fridge for cats.
I'm american, but no patriot.
David Tennant obsessive.
I'm horrible at greetings and at saying goodbye.
so, er, bye. |

Hididdleyho, neighbor.
I tip my tricornered hat in your direction. (I wore it for a pep rally today. We are the pirates, the mighty mighty pirates.... oh, screw it. I hate pep rallies with every fiber of my being but I obsessively heart tricorns)
This has been most spiffing |

Mijn naam is Tessa, I'm 15 years old and I'm from the Netherlands. (Therefore my first language is Dutch, so forgive me for making mistakes in English)
You're right Azkaban IS a great word!!! (I just hate that it's used for the name of a prison...).
One of my favorite definitions is this one: "Socks are symbols of freedom, redemption and love." (This was about the socks in HP).
Vereerd om je welkom te heten op het forum, (honerd to welkome you to this forum)
Tessa
P.s. I've never been to a pep rally (we don't have them in Holland ) what are they like... (read: "what are they?" ) _________________ Nederlands!! |

Welcome!
Tessa - pep rallys are gatherings of the student body of a school before a sporting event (in this case - football (am.) probably) to get the crowd ready per say. Basically it's where the cheerleaders do a few cheers, the band plays a few songs, and the coach and/or athletes tell everyone how bad they're going to beat the other team. _________________ I have no words of wisdom to put here, so I figured I'd just fill it with junk.

And, in our case, where middle-aged teachers dress up as football players (in overalls, mind you) and do what is a supposedly comical football skit to rap music. The male teachers dressed up as cheerleaders in bright neon wigs and did incredibly awkard cheers that most of the student body weren't sure whether to laugh at.
(It was horrifying. Some moms were down there too. I thank every deity and historical coincidence that mine was not)
But at least it was something different. Usually we just listen to the Hey Song and the Fight Song fifty times, hear cheerleaders scream in voices I'm sure must have been surgically modified to be identical, and almost get trampled to bloody pulps in the mob when everyone leaves.
And on that cheerful note I say - nice to meet everyone. |

It sounds like fun to see (once)... we don't have anything like chearleader either so...
Well, it sounds pretty funny. (Especially the dressed up teacher part ) _________________ Nederlands!! |

They are very annoying. You don't want to go to one... ever. The only entertaining thing that I ever saw at one (...besides fat football players squished in very small uniforms...) was a cheerleader falling and breaking her nose.
It was AMAZING. |

But anyways. Hello abrakazam-who's-name-is-unimportant. I like your intro. It's funny.

That was an awesome intro, Abrakazam.

I like it very much so, too. |

I had fun writing the intro. I really do check in the fridge for cats. We have three. Once upon a time, when I was a wee lass, we had perhaps nine. I used to be terrified that they would get in there and get frozen into icy kitty statues for all eternity.
It's fun to mutate the word until it's difficult to remember what it originally was... like this:
AbrakaZAM!
AbrunclaSAM!
AZAkaSHAM!
AvadakaBAM!
Abrakabama! Abrakafidget! Abernicus! Avakadaver! Aberfilch!
*Spastic twitches* *dies*
Hours of entertainment.
