I think there's still good music around.
I love The Shins. _________________

There are a few good bands around, but the standard of music has really decreased.
The only active bands/artists I think are any good are:
Aerosmith
Goo goo dolls
The Calling
Bon Jovi
Robert Plant and the strange sensation
Eric Clapton
Paul McCartney
The Rolling Stones (not a fan)
I might have forgotten to list a few more. These days mainstream music isn’t that great, even the Shin’s aren’t mainstream.
My point being, there may be a few good bands/artists around but they aren’t appreciated as much as they should be.
60s mainstream= The Beatles, The Rolling Stones
00s mainstream= Green Day, 50 Cent
And there’s also the problem of bands claiming to be Punk Rock, while they may be punk pop or sometimes purely pop. _________________

Cool, what’s your favorite song?
Mine would be Iris, probably followed by Here is Gone, Black Balloon and All eyes on me. _________________

Mine is Slide. You have to love a song about abortion.
Most of my favorite songs have controversial meanings.
Venus In Furs (BDSM) (VU)
Lola (Tranvestite) (Kinks)
Slide(Abortion) (GGD)
Here She Comes Now( Prostitution) (VU)
I'm Waiting for the Man (Drugs) (VU)
Die, Die My Darling ( You can figure this one out) (Misfits)
Then there are the ones about Suicide....
The Rolling Stones are okay. _________________

I’m not really a fan of the Stones, though I’ll admit Keith Richards is an amazing guitarist.
Still. There’s no denying the Stones are very influential, Aerosmith would be non-existent if not for the stones. _________________

Yeah, I agree. They have a concert in my town next week. I was thinking about going but it is way too expensive. =( _________________

It's amazing how the Stones can keep performing for so long. They've been around for like 40 years! _________________ Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus

My favourite song has to be November Rain by Guns n Roses followed by Iris by Goo Goo Dolls and Dream On by Aerosmith. _________________ I made this Sig

It was originally written for a movie, so in the movie it’s about an outlaw who becomes a sheriff and has to hunt down one of his friend’s whose still an outlaw.
The lyrics could also be referring to the sheer insanity of war. _________________
