well, it initially started off as a trilogy. not our fault we created the thread before young christopher decided to split the last book into 2 _________________
They're horrible. CP basically copied the plot from Star Wars, and then he made all sorts of terrible plot twists like making Brom the father, and in general the series is terrible. The first one wasn't bad, actually, but the rest were. And don't even get me started on the atrocious romance. Ugh. _________________ http://media.animegalleries.net/albums/userpics/20751/Sasuke%20Sagara.jpg

These are some good books I love how evey one says..." oh thiis person got the plot fromthiis book,... " or sumthin like that, There is only a limted amount of ideas out there and people twist and make it there one like chrsipoher, I love this series almost as much as hp _________________ (mind the gap)
Christopher Paolini is one of those writters that of our genoration only comes by every once and awhile. This guy devoted many personal hours, hours where he could have been out with friends, family... he basically isolates himself. I personally compare CP's production-of-though is similar to Dr. Suess's. The good docter would spend 8 hours a day in his office drawling and writting. Even in his 70s and 80s he worked. Paolini became somewhat of a hermit, but a brilliant one. And my recollections on the thought of Paolini coping Star Wars is simple; every idea, every single thought that enters the mind, both mine and yours, is recycled. George Lucas definatily wasnt the 1st to think "hmmm... maybe there could be a galaxy, where long ago some dude and his sister kiss and harrison ford drives a crappy space ship and this guy with a mask is the father of that trans guy and the leader..." and vampires were created looong ago! Most thoughts are like junkers you get, fix up, add a few personal touches to, and claim it your own. The only way this is impossible is if your either a god of some sort or the 1st living creature.
On a personal note, i am currently reading Brisingr, and i think the books are quite good. _________________
