Do they ever say which house Hagrid was sorted into? I don't think so.
Which do you think he would have been sorted into?

I'd love to say that he says at one point that he was a Gryffindor...however, I can't look it up because all my books are at the house I'm about to move into.

According to the Haryy Potter Lexicon, though he was in Gryffindor.

I'm 99% sure that it is Gyffindor. I just remember reading that somewhere, and well, it makes the most sense. Laughing

I know it says that, but I'm pretty sure that's not in the books.

I always assumed Gryfindor as Hagrid always supported the Quidditch team not just Harry. If that makes sense.

I think it is in the book...I just can't look it up until the end of the week.

Hagrid was in Gryffindor, JKR confirmed it....

Barnes and Noble & Yahoo! chat with J.K. Rowling,
barnesandnoble.com, 20 October, 2000

Yahooligan_seachellie4 asks: What house was Hagrid in?
jkrowling_bn: Hagrid was in Gryffindor, naturally!

correct me if I'm wrong but in the Chambers of Secrets I'm 90% sure when Harry falls into the memory of Tom Riddle and he sees Hagrid with Aragon, is he not wearing the Gryfindor colours?

You mean Aragog? Smile

Hagrid's robes are never mentioned in the book.
And speaking of which, we don't know what Hogwart's robes look like. In the movies the inside lining of the robes are either red, blue, green, or yellow. For all we know, looking at a person's school robes would not give a clue as to their house, unless you were able to see their badges up close. And that is also assuming their house badges are on their robes.
