Well as many people wants to know how to know what your wand is, here you may "buy" a wand, you may only say wivh you want:

Material:
Holly - a powerful protective wood that good for use against evil, but it also represents dreams and fertility
Mahogany
Walnut
Oak - signifies wisdom, endurance, protection, and authority
Willow - signifies that you care deeply about emotions, art, and intuition, and that you have a particular knack for charms.
Birch
Rosewood
Maple
Yew
Ash - signifies growth, balance, and protection

Cores:
Phoenix Feather - means that you have the capability to be an extremely powerful wizard or witch and that you will defend those you love at all costs
Unicorn Tail
Dragon Heartstring - Your dragon's heartstring core makes your wand very effective in hexes.
Hippogriff Talon
Leprachaun Hair
Runespoor Fang
Chimera Scales
Ashwinder Ash
Demiguise Hair
Veela Hair - means that you are slightly unpredictable but very powerful.

Is there any place where all the meanings to the materials are, or do you just go by what you want and make it up?

It would be so cool to have a shop or something where you can get real stuff. I know dragons aren;t real, but I know of a lizard... Laughing

I really want to know what my wand is. All I know for sure is that my wand wood is elder. And no it is not the elder wand! Harry probally died a normal death soo....yea!
