Never before have I been upset when someone tries to copy our site. It's inevitable when you have a popular website. I do not care that your site looks visually similar to our site. We are both using a popular phpBB template. However, you have blatently copied a significant amount of content from our website. I can understand copying the names of some of our forums, since they aren't overly original, but the forum descriptions on your site exactly match, word for word, ours for all of the Common Rooms, all of the Harry Potter Books (except our spoiler warning for DH), and all of the Harry Potter Films.
Additionally, you have stolen our forum rank images. These images were created for exclusive use by potterforums.com and their use on your website is copyright infringement. These images are digital property of the SparqTech Network and SparqTech, LLC. You do not have permission to use these images. They must be removed IMMEDIATELY or we will be forced to take further action.
I am leaving this topic unlocked so that the original poster has the ability to reply. I am leaving the promotional link intact to provide our members with an example of your legal infractions.

I have since removed what you have asked. Anyway for people with crap usernames this is your chance to talk about the same thing with better NAMES and become MODERATORS to help run the site

Darn. Maybe if I join your site, I can get the name 'flamingmonkey,' or 'flamingmonkey1,' because there are actually 922 other Flamingmonkeys on this site, and I'm so angry that they all took my name. -_-

Why would people join a forum that is obviously less prepared then this one. I think I speak for everyone when I say, names aren't that important. This forum is better because, there are more people. Also, there is a lot of older, maturer people who will add better insight and opinions. I've been a forum Mod and a forum Admin before, yes, it is fun but it's not that important. I'd rather be at a forum where I'm just a common poster and other people have good opinions and add something to a forum rather then having a "cooler" name and being a moderator.
And we also know that there is no cooler name then Sirius Black. I was honestly surprised that it was not taken already.

I think you did speak for all of us. If you would just put diffrent things. Do what i did, put things that this site does not so that people would at least look at it. Have cool book reviews, or trivia games. |

What? You changed the order the forums are in? You're still illegally using the images and content from this site. Your forum is just a crappy recreation of this one.. and I think it was pretty immature of you to make something like that. Dar, Phoenix, and others work hard to run this site well and develop its content and organization.
You say you want better name choices or whatever to choose from... yet on this new forum you still make your username "Oliver G"? I dont get it.
It's great that you wanna make a website and a forum community... but you should atleast respect the work of others and create your own stuff. Otherwise you really look like a loser who's bumming off of other people's hard work.
