I've stuck with HP films since the very beginning. But as time pass by, all main characters as well as the actors are growing up. Do you think they are better suited for their characters in the later films or in the earlier ones?

Have yet to see in the later movies, I think up until now they have been fine. The wonders of Hollywood can do a lot of things. I think most of the characters in saved by the bell were of age, yet they looked the part. For me its all the same, because I am a tad bit older, and I view younger people a lot differently (they all look the same age to me).

I thought, as far as their acting goes, that they were great from the beginning. They seem like naturals. Well, I think perhaps one of them might have declined a bit, but it could just be my imaginaton.

As far as their ages go, they are not that much older than their characters. And Emma Watson will be the exact age as Hermione when they start filming in September. Both her and her character are 17.

I thought that for the first and second movie, the acting was great, but it declined as they moved into later movies. For instance, Dumbledore seems much too forceful and abrupt for his character.

I think the entire cast is excellent, but the first dude who played Dumbledore fit the role better. The second one is too energetic for my tastes.

I think Dan has improved the most throughout the series though. I still can't watch that crying scene in PoA without bursting out laughing, but I thought he did a really great job in the 4th and 5th movies.

The cast is much better. Can't wait until the next film to come out to see how they all look.

The first Dude was Richard Harris who unfortunately died. I agree with you, the way he played Dumbledore fit my image of Dumbledore in the books. Dumbledore is supposed to be wise, calm, serene. This fella plays him all wrong.

for me,I think growing up is definitely a good thing
not just only HP casts..everyone needs to grow up..so they can be mature, caring to others, learn to co-operate with others/co-workers..it's very important when we work outside....
for the HP cast,it's sensible to use the enitre casting until the end..it's a shame if any cast changed in HP6/7...

Better because we're getting more new actors. Such as Tonks.

Your grammar is incorrect. "The cast" is a singular verb. It refers to many people as a group. It should be "The cast IS ______ . . ." Either that, or you could rephrase the subject of the sentence. Another option would be "The actors in the Harry Potter films are _______ . . ."

They are better now especially when Luna appear . Oh my!!! she's so hot, those blonde hair. It turns me on especially with her soft spoken voice.and also Hermione she's hot too, ( some characters do have awkward stage of maturit).

Preferred the first person who plays Dumbledore. More Dumbledore-ish if you know what I mean. The current one seems really angry all the time. Haha. He needs longer beard and hair and sometime he is missing the half moon glasses and his infamous twinkle in the eyes.

As the rest of the cast, I think from the beginning, they are really good already. Dan, Rupert, Emma and Tom did really good at playing their roles. Oh Alan on the other case, he can always capture the audience with his Snape's portrayal.

The older they get, the better. Experience makes them better as actors.

Better, of course. They`re growing up and getting so much experience from the amazing actors they work with, like Gary Oldman, David Thewlis, Alan Rickman, Imelda Stouton and others.

I think that the actors aren't that much older than their characters, and the makeup people could easily make them appear younger, but they seem to have improved from my perspective.
