What was your favorite part in HArry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban? Mine is the part when Harry blows up Aunt Marge. All of my friends always laugh so hard when we read that part, it's even funnier when we see it.

Haha that part was really funny! For me it was Lupin and the boggarts. I really loved when Neville was scared of Snape and He comes out in his grandma clothes haha I love that part! I also like when Harry sees himself conjure the patronus and he realizes it is him and not his father.

Spoiler:

EVIL EVIL DEMETORS

I totally agree. But the look on Harry's and Ron's faces just after that was the icing on the cake. (excuse the cliche)

I remembered another part that i really really liked. Its not a part per but when the trio sees that my favorite hipogriff has been killed, Hermione hugs Ron and then Harry hugs Hermione. It is said in the trivia that this was a reference to Cuaron's Y tu Mama Tambien a great movie ( NOT for kids) that also deals with a very different trio.[/spoiler]

It was definitely the part where Sirius dies.

I’m so evil… Twisted Evil

Edit:

Whoops, wrong board.

Sirius doesn’t die in POA.

So I’d have to say the hippogriff scene, but I’ll probably change my mind.

My favorite part is the Quidditch Cup final. It was a memorable moment. It's really exciting, and we witness Gryffindor finally winning the Cup. The part where the Boggart comes out as Snape in the dress is pretty funny.

It's probably cos Voldemort doesn't appear in it. No Death Eaters, no Dark magic. Confused

You all are missing a really funny part. Maybe, it's so funny to me because of a need to get back at Snape. I love the part in the book where Snape is knocked out and they have him floating through the secret passage from the Shreeking shack to the Whomping Willow. His feet are dragging on the ground and his head keeps hitting the ceiling. I was so disappointed when that part wasn't in the movie. Sad

Haha I had forgot about that part Pensive Laughing I dont know what it is, i just know when i reread the books (which i do every few months, not necessarily in order Rolling Eyes ) the POA is the last one i want to read. Maybe its because its dark and dreary compared to the others.

I don't think that it is as dark as the OotP. I like them all but in a couple of books I think J.K. Rowling was getting tired and she didn't really do good of a job.

I loved the part when Harry gets his firebolt - but then as usual Hermione had to be a goody two shoes and snitch on them, how evil was that?

I also loved the Quidich( i think i spelled that wrong, oh well) match espacially when Oliver shouts at Harry to stop being a gentleman and knock her off the broom if he has to.

I just loved a lot of parts, I thought it was more funny than CoS

It took a really long time for the story to pick up, maybe that’s why.

The movie has been out for over an year, why would they make GOF into a movie if they hadn’t already done POA…

this book and movie was rather dulling but some of it was good like the punch, blown up aunt, harry's petronus (i think it's spelled wrong), dementors, and firebolt.
