Here's the idea. A long-term RP where a few select people are chosen as headmaster, teacher, or other important figures. Everyone else starts at year 1 at Hogwarts. You can only preform spells the teachers have taught you, and the teachers will grade you during classes, so people with higher transfiguration grades, are better at transfiguration, and people with higher potions grades can make more advanced potions, etc. etc.

The premise is getting through Hogwarts (one week = one year at Hogwarts), and undoubtedly somebody will gain interest in Dark Magic, or just be some sort of antagonist to the majority of the population in some way. To me, this makes the RP more realistic, and long-lasting, and it adds depth because your relationships with others in the RP will grow as time goes on.

Yes, there will be quidditch teams, captains will be assigned to hold tryouts, and practices and such.

If anyone is interested, please sign up here, and if you're interested in being a teacher, captain, or other important character. Keep in mind, only a small percentage of people can be teachers, but also keep in mind the role of a student may become much more important as time goes on.

EDIT 1 - ONLY post your official sign up sheet here
EDIT 2 - You DO NOT need to apply for quidditch positions unless you are applying to be captain. It doesn't hurt to mention it though.
EDIT 3 - There is an application I will post for everyone wanting to be a teacher, so only the best person applying will get chosen. In other words: don't be afraid to apply for a spot that someone else is applying for: You may beat them even though they applied first.
