I hope it will be at least 2 1/2 hours. But as amberluvsron said, Yates will probably make it short like OotP.

I'm contemplating writing a letter to him. Telling him how much he screwed up and that he has no idea how many fans are angry with him. Maybe it would help, who knows...

you know...he did cut a lot out and made it too short, but he did a really good job in all other aspects. but hbp was shorter than ootp...maybe 2 hours? wow they're going to have to show all of riddle memories really fast...even if it was 3 hours.

Well, Yates is directing it. So we can look forward to a full hour.

Harry: Hello Ron!
Ron: I love quidditch, I can't wait to play.
Harry: Sorry, no time. It got cut for a 20 minute overview of London.
Ron: Do I get to at least snog Lavander?
Harry: Yes, but be quick, we're almost out of time.
Ron: Oh, all right...
Harry: Oops, out of time.

THE END

I don't think even PS/SS was under 2. I wouldn't worry about that.

Hmm.....tough one....I say it'll be between 2 hours and 10 minutes - 2 hours and 30 minutes long. This book is a little shorter than the 4th one so obviously YATES is gonna take out the supposedly "unessecary" bits such as

Spoiler:

the bit when Harry uses sectumsempra against malfoy. U jus kno hes gonna cut short but good bits like that out

Like I said in another, maybe I'll just skip the last two movies. Yates is gonna ruin them.

I think Chris Columbus did really well interpreting the first 2 books to movies, and as much as i would like him to direct the final movie,
the first 2 movies werent nearly as dark as the others, and im not so sure how well columbus would do with such a dark movie, seeing as he usually does bright, happier movies and had a tendency to "sugarcoat" the first 2 hp movies

If they were going to really try and do it justice I would like to see them do a two parter. Then they could actually include the whole plot and such. I know they wont do that but I think it would make the movies a lot better. It will probably be like an hour and a half or so like the last one I suppose.

they should do a lord of the rings kind of thing and show the shorter version in theaters but then there would be an extended version that you could buy
