the epilogue, shocking yes but i really would feel uncomfortable seeing thirty year old actors playing as harry ron hermione and ginny and even draco. and if they keep it in there going to have to find some believable actors and actresses to play them. and there kids better be believable and somewhat resembling harry and the rest of them.

If they have an epilogue thenI hope they just age the actors with make-up and computers. Because to get other actors would be .... horrific!. The last scene has to have the origial trio in it. hate them or love them, can you imagine any one else but them in the final scene?

me neither. But I think that they need the epiloge in it. Otherwise it wouldn't seem right.

I hope they don't skip any part (even though I know they will) because it all seems to be essential to the story. And it just wouldn't feel sthe same without it.

I'm curious to see how they would show the epilogue in the movie, but at the same time - I know it's probably going to be horrible anyway.

I agree with Lewis, if they do put it in they better put some actors that look similar to Harry, Hermione, Ron, etc. It'd be so odd if they cast some actors that have no resemblance to the characters whatsoever.

Though, it probably will be added at the end of the film to put a good final end. Either that or they'll add the epilogue ending to the DVD, to those who would want to see it.

They probably will just add it to the DVD as a Cut Scene or Bonus Scene or whatever.

I could do without most of the hopping around from forest to forest though, maybe they can cut some of that out, but if they cut out Dobby's Death, or Harry digging the grave himself, I will KILL them.

they could leave out most of the beginning scene, where voldemort is just blathering on and on and on. Make it quick and simple less than 30 seconds.

um... why dont they just use makeup to make them look older? by the time that film is being filmed everyone of the cast members will be filled out... i mean i have seen a movie where they made a 35 yr old look like a 70 yr old... it wont be that hard to get daniel, rupert, and emma to look like they are in their mid thirties... well... for the professionals it wont be hard... if it was me id be screwed...

I think that they will do just fine with the epilogue, with the technology available they can make them look a little more than 15 years older....

and as for the kids, they are really good about finding people who have a resemblence to the actors, just look at James Potter in OoTP....he looks A LOT like Daniel Radcliffe...

But that's finding someone older.

Also Harry didn't have ot be digitally (or manually) altered, and children are much harder to match (and have a habit of growing in the middle of filming!)

I agree with it being weird to have older people acting at the end, but I'm pretty sure they would show it like most movies would do. I hope they would show it after when the credit ends so it would be short :p

Yeah, I think the original trio HAS to be in the epilouge, no matter what. I can't imagine any other actors playing them, and as stated before, it won't be a problem to make them look older with make-up and technology or whatever.

It's true that the movies so far have been doing no justice to this amazing book series. And the epilouge itself was just poorly written, so I won't be surprised if that turns out horrible.
