I never quite figured out why they DIDN'T start going out. I mean Hermione is the perfect fit for Harry.
She's smart, nice, has saved his life, and she's very pretty, why couldn't he get it through his thick skull that he should like her?

| ^Well, Harry never seemed to show Hermione feelings like Ron did but i don't understand why either...but i did think Ron/Hermione was kind of cool but that left Harry with nothing IMO...Ginny just didn't seem to fit because i never saw why she fit so much better than Hermione though i guess he felt Hermione was 'like a sister'.. |

Also, he does do things for her "Like stand up for her infront of Cho" "And rescue her from a troll"

Ok, first of all, Harry and Hermione= Never meant to be. They are BEST FRIENDS. It's best that way. 
And second- You didn't put Luna and Harry in? ....I thought they woud have been good together, even though Harry and Ginny are def. meant to be. The same with Luna and Neville?
Well. I Voted Ron and Hermione. I loved how j.K.R built up to it through the series, and FINALLY got to it.

Oh, i was pissed that Ron/Hermione were together, because I believed that Harry should be with Hermione, because they were best friends, and because in the first frigging book she shows affection for him. It just was't fair.

Uhm Harry and Hermione doesn't work for me. I'm def. a Ron and Hermione shipper but I don't like Ginny for Harry either. Luna and Neville or Ginny and Neville would be cute.

part of the reason I don't like it. But to me Ginny is just the wrong kind of girl for Harry. I mean she does snog like 4 different people over 3 years (not that that's a great number, but Hermione only kisses Krum and that's not even a real one.

Very true, which makes her perfect for Harry.
Cho was a lousy first kiss, and Ginny's used goods, so Hermione is perfect for Harry.
Also she complements everything he is: Read in PS before he goes through the fire to fight Snape (turns out to be Quirrell) and see what she does.

right i mean... i dont even like ginny's character that much... its believable but aaaargh something about her just ticks me off. she seems so FAKE. but maybe thats just the actress.
