In the 7th book, during King's Cross, what was the little creature that kept crying behind Harry and Dumbledore?

o_0 I don't think I ever figured that out... if it's something obvious, then I must be really slow. hahaha

But Voldy didn't die and if it was the 1/8th of Voldys soul what was it doing in an afterlife where Harry and DD were. Surely after everything Voldemort has done he/part of his soul wouldn't get the same treatment as Harry or DD???

It was the horocrux part of Voldemort.
Since it was with Harry and DD some people say it could be the "scar" and his head doing everything. Other people say it was sort of Limbo. And since the "train" was going, and Harry had to choose whether to go on the train "with the baby" or go back. I think that it was basically saying the horocrux part of Harry was dead.

I'm going to say it was either the Horcrux part of Harry's soul, or, what I really thought, it was Voldemort. Voldemort collapsed, too. They both went to the same place, because it wasn't THE afterlife it was just a limbo-place. It wasn't good or bad. See, Harry didn't see his parents, or anyone who had died really long ago. He only saw Dumbledore because, I believe Dumbledore stayed behind for the moment when Harry learned he was a Horcrux and died at Voldemort's hand.

This is my theory: Since Harry had supposedly died, all of Voldemort's horcruxes were gone, so that's what he became, or all that was left of him. Remember the 4th book, Voldemort looked like a horrible-looking baby before he returned to his full body.

but all of the horcrux's werent gone...he still had himself and the snake.. i do agree with the post several up from me that it was infact a place in limbo where both harry and voldermort were sent when he cast the curse. Dumbledore probably infact stayed behind to wait for harry (poor guy i wonder what he did that whole time...prob worked on his speech it was pretty damn good) if it wasnt that then it had to have been the part of voldermorts soul which rested in harry or just voldermort himself
