ok did anyone else notice how when harry, ron and hermione are captured and taken to malfoy manor and harry sees his reflection in a mirror for the first time in months, it says that his hair is now shoulder length
i cant really picture danielle radcliffe with hair that long.
does anyone think theyre gonna stick to that in the 7th movie and make his hair longer like in the book, or do u think theyre gonna do that that nasty cut he had for the last movie that looked really bad on him? (no offense mzradcliffe14) _________________ Bloody Hell!!

I dont remember the book saying he had shoulder length hair But if they did I dont think they would do that, maybe a wig, but probably not. _________________

I thought that Hermione only jinxed him to make his face look fat. I also thought that his hair was long just from camping around for months and not grooming himself.

it clearly states that hermiones jinx made him all puffy and deformed, not that it made his hair grow longer
The sentence about his hair is in the middle of a paragraph about the jinx.

And he goes back to mentioning he was under a jinx.
He wouldn't talk about it, drop it, then talk about it again all in the same thought. And JKR wouldn't have brought it up, dropped it, then pick it up again in the same paragraph.

it not only mentions how his hair has grown, but also how he has a dark shadow around his jaw.
are u saying hermione did that too?
JKR was not only talking about the jinx in that paragraph, she was also talking about how much harry's appearance had changed since the last time he had looked in a mirror. _________________ Bloody Hell!!

I just assumed that his hair touched his shoulders because his head was so swollen. It was so large that is rubbed against his shoulders. I don't think that his hair would have gotten very long in just months anyway. _________________

i disagree. when my brother hasnt had a haircut in a couple of months his hair starts to get really long. just think how long harry had gone without a haircut. _________________ Bloody Hell!!

Besides, they do haircuts with magic. He doesn't need a mirror.

you have to remember that it was april when they were caught and taken to the malfoy manor, because draco was home for the easter holidays. and harry probably hadnt had a haircut since he was at least at the weasleys house for the wedding. there was a good 8 or 9 months where he had no haircut, definately enough time for his hair to grow a few inches _________________ Bloody Hell!!
I hadn't noticed that, really, no. But I don't really think it's that much of a significant detail. Maybe his hair will be long, maybe it won't.
The main idea is that he looks different because Hermione jinxed him and he looks worn/dirty because he's wandering around the woods. _________________
Hermione put a Stinging hex on him, that's why it says his face was "huge, shiny, and pink, every feature distorted by Hermione's jinx." I think his hair was to his shoulders b/c he hadn't had a haircut in a long time. _________________
