FM saw a predictable, start up spell like "Stupefy" or "Expelliarmus" coming. He quickly produced a bubble-head charm on himself, and dove into the lake, watching the beam of red light fly past his arm.

"Come on in!" he taunted. "The water's fine!"

"Heh" FM was waiting for his opponent to enter the water. Imperio, he thought pointing his wand at the Giant Squid. The squid swam at full speed toward DC (DistChamp), trying to bind him with its tentacles.

distchamp saw the giant squid and casted Protego to shield from it

(Does protego protect from physical objects? I thought it was just spells...)

FM cast a few bombardment spells toward DC (protego only protects from one spell at a time), and then resumed his attack with the giant squid.

This duel is mine, he thought.

sweating, but not done yet, DC decided to cast Avada Kedarva on the squid to avoid its tentacle prey

(You've also got two bombardment curses to deal with)

The squid died, but FM wasn't done just yet. Imperio, he though pointing to a grindeylow, who led an entire horde of grindeylows toward DC.

quickly without thinking DC shouted Crucio! He attacked and tortured them until they fell to the bottom of the sea

then he saw the bombardments and yelled protego to protect from one, then the other shot him in the arm forcing blood to squirt out, yet he cast protego with his left and disposed of it
