Dear Un-Named Fans of Harry Potter,
It has come to my attention that we, as a large community of Harry Potter loving people, do not have a proper title! Think about it, if you grab a dictionary and look up “Trekkie” it says “an avid fan of Star Trek”. Will anyone remember Harry Potter if the fans of the books have no real title?! In my eyes, this is an outrage. This is why myself, and other fans like you and I, are asking you all to send emails to J.K. Rowling to ask her to name us herself. Because if she doesn’t name us, nobody will.
Remember, who will remember us, if nobody knows who we are right now…

As an older member of this society, may I remind you younger and more unaware readers, that a "Pothead" was in my youth, somebody who smoked "Pot" . I for one would definitely not liked to be called "Pothead" How about Potties? I think somebody mentioned that earlier. It doesn't sound so bad.

Potties reminds me of someone sitting on the toliet. My Mom called visiting mother nature, going to the pot. So that one has negative connotations for me too.
