sirius

but dobby comes close...i cried when dobby died, i didn't cry when sirius died just because i was pretty sure he was going to die. they kept saying, someone's gonna die, someone's gonna die, and i figured it was probably sirius.

I honestly cried my eyes out when Sirius died. I was just so devastated because Harry's lost almost every father figure in his life at that point and it's just so sad. After Sirius, Snape. Snape has ALWAYS been one of my favorite characters. And then Lupin. Those are really my favorite characters other than Harry, Ron, and Hermione. And they all died. I was crying my eyes out by the end of Deathly Hallows. And I sobbed when Sirius died in Order of the Phoenix.

i gotta say fred.

madeye, tonks, lupin you didn't see die so it wasn't realy that bad...

when sirius died it was almost like he didn't die, he just disapeared because he just went throught the veil so it wasn't really that sad for me.

for some reason i just didn't find dumbledore's death sad...

voldemort, well it's pretty obvious y that wasn't sad

snape's death was pretty sad, and so was dobby's.

but fred's death was saddest because:
a: his brother had just come back to the family and their fighting together and everything and then he dies.....
b: he was a twin, so it was really sad for george
c: he was like one of my favourite characters

With Sirius I cried, because he was my favorite character.

Fred because he was one of the greatest characters in the entire book, alongside George. The two of them were perfect, and it's just so depressing to read about one's death while the other has to say goodbye.

And Snape. While I was never a fan of him in the books, I began to see him in a different light starting in the Order of the Phoenix. He interested me because he was playing both sides of the field. He didn't completely gain my respect until Deathly Hallows, and I did end up crying a little bit when he died.

For me it's Tonks and Lupin. It was kind of the way it was done. One minute they're there fighting, the next when Harry walks in to the hall, he sees but hardly registers their dead bodies. That hit me more than anything coz you don't see the way they died, and the way it was barely registered.

For some reason with me, when I watch a film or read a book, seeing the death completes the whole picture, so I know what's happening and I don't get upset about it. Whereas if it's not seen, or explained, it hits harder. To me, it just feels really cold, if that makes any sense (it probably doesn't). I don't know why, it just gets me that way.

RIP Tonks, Lupin, Alastair Moody, Colin Creevey.

It was highly unfortunate and unexpected when Fred died, but I felt the most grief coming from Dobby's death. You thought he manged to get outta Malfoy Manor safely but it didn't turn out that way. Sad

I say Fred's. When I first started reading the books Fred was the character I loved the most. As time went on I moved on to Draco, but I will always remember my first HP love so I found it the most sad. By the way I was camping with my grandma when I was reading the book and I went to the bathroom building and cried for 30 minutes. It was bad.
