The shouting scene is played down loads. I was imagining him really yelling in that scene, but he just sounded mildly cheesed off. They still kept Fred's "You should let it all out Harry!" comment though.

Yeah,i didnt feel any anger at all, harry didnt raise his voice.

And then "you should let it all out" and "we thought we could here your dulcet(sp?) tones." Which didnt add up at all,as harry didnt do anything! And they cut out Harry shouting when herm suggested harry teaching them DADA.

The anger was a major part of the book and they didn't portray it that well.

Yeah that was too played down. I was waiting him to start off on a tangent, but then the scene ended and I was like "Wtf? Where's the teen angst?" i didn't think he was too angry in the film at all, actually. The only time he actually raised his voice (yes, he actually did *gasp* -_- ) was after Harry saw Mr. Weasley get attacked. Though you have to admit, the second and third time I saw the movie I was trying not to laugh at the part because Dumbledore's face is like "EXCUSE me!?" XD

But yeah, teen angst, way down the tubes.

Yeah, he didn't really yell, so Fred and George's comments didn't make sense at all.

I noticed that he didnt shout much too.
It would have been much better if he had shouted more.
Oh well Smile

they left almost the whole talk out. it didn't explain anything.

and i thought harry should have shouted because fred and george's comments don't make any sense.

harrys voice actually sounded really quiet.
and i really wish he had just yelled!

i agree with laxaholic, the anger was a huge part of the book and they didnt put enough emphasis on it

plus the part with fred and george talking about harrys "dulcet tones" just didnt make any sense at all.

i mean, i doubt someone standing right outside the bedroom with their ear pressed against the door wouldve been able to hear harry lol

They did miss out on all the shouting that they wrote in the book.
I thought they would show Harrys REALLY angry voice, because of Voldermort in his head, and all that.

So was I Sad

BUT.

If he had shouted, maybe it would've ruined the scene. He's not good at shouting.

When he shouts at Draco near the Hogwarts Express, "JUST STAY AWAY FROM ME!"

Its like "Umm..?"

And the same with when he shouts at Dumbledore. "LOOK AT ME"

Its like... "Go to acting school, I'm embarrased"

it would have been hard to portray all the anger harry had in the books. i imagine that it would have left people in the theatre confused(those who havent read the books)

I'm sure there's a few cut scenes of harry yelling. Hopefully they'll actually integrate them into a special edition DVD, but I doubt it.

Personally, I thought that whole scene seemed rushed! Hermione's line was just blurted out in record-breaking speed, and Harry barely had time to talk about how upset he was. I still loved this movie the best, but that part could have been less rushed.

That scene outside the train SUCKED! That was probably the worst acting I've seen in the series. I was like, just get into the school, for some reason that's where the best movie-making happens.

But what about when eh thought he'd been booted from Hogwarts?
And he punched the wall.. that was the lamest scene, he didn't act angry very well at all in this film and it was supposed to be all about his internal battle.
