I'm really upset about there deaths I mean all they have both been through and then this but in I way I'm sure they're happy up there together and Lupin without his werewolf burden. I was so shocked when I first read it - i didn't beleive and thought they were just sleeping but no!!! _________________

In a way, I'm glad they both died at the end of book 7. Don't get me wrong, I love them and wish they hadn't died, but think if only ONE of them had died and the other had lived: How sad Lupin or Tonks would be when they found out the other was gone. I liked how they both died together, so they could be together in the afterlife.
yea i to agree even if tonks was my fave character they were the perfect and most romantic couple....but think, to me it made the whole story different from others that have like some of the main characters alive there deaths made a whole twist in the story....but yea it would have been devastating to both of dem if only one died....

i totally agree tonks would hav been devastated because she has loved lupin for ages and has waited a long time for him and lupin has already had a tough life and he finally found sum1 would could make him truly happy and if he lost tonks then his life would just be getting worse and worse which would be extremely sad. they were the most adorable couple ever. they both deserved the happiness they bought eachother. RIP LUPIN AND TONKS

I agree that they could not just let one live, but it was so sad when it was revealed. Not only was everyone devastated over Fred, but all of a sudden you see Lupin and Tonks among the dead. No idea how they died and little notice to it. That part crushed me.
I couldnt agree more they were among my favorite characters right up there with Sirius I thought they were great together
They are so cute together, simply perfect. Tonks is a capable witch even though she's a bit clumsy and Lupin is the quiet, sensible person with lots of worries but he will have something to laugh about with young Tonks about. They are made for one another.
Remus is probably my all time favorite male character followed closely by Sirius. Same with Tonks shes my favorite female character. The two of them dying was very sad but i do see how it made Teddy's life parallel Harry's. I think if they both lived then the entire ending (the forest scene mostly imo.) would have been different. I know Harry wasn't as emotionally attached to Remus or Tonks as he was to most of the other characters but they were both definately his friends. Lupin has taught Harry many things that have helped save Harry's life.
I know that was sort of a long reply but these characters are to of my favorites so i have a lot to say about them.
I cried when the book suddenyl reveaeld that Lupin`s dead. He had just had his son, and married Tonks. Oh, I just love that she was so much younger than him.
BUT
In the books, I thought they'd be a good couple, but in the movie, there is a large age difference, and it wouldn't work, so it's more weird than it is a shock. _________________

The book, they have a 13 year age difference...the actors have a 21 year difference.... (I didn't realize she was that young, damn.) _________________

I was so happy in book 6 because lupin (along with harry) has always been my favourite character!!
I so understand his initial reluctance to the relationship and, even though i agree with what harry says to him in deathly hallows when he leaves tonks (he was a tiny bit harsh, though), i think i can understand that moment of weakness as well. He was presented from the very begining as a very self deprecating character so it just goes along with all of his self doubt. _________________

Tonks is a very cute person and Lupin is also a perfect wizard! It was unfair that Lupin didn't accept her at first. I think they look so pretty together!
