Did u notice that both Harry and Voldemort are related to the Peverell family?
(The Peverells were the three brothers who first obtained the deathly hallows)
Harry is the decendent of Ignotus, the youngest of the brothers, who asked Death for the Invisibility Cloak.
Voldemorts is a descendent of the middle Peverell brother who asked for the Resurrection Stone.
That means Harry and Voldemort were... COUSINS!
So Harry and Voldemort shared the same bloodline. |

FREAKING DISTANT COUSINS. the three brothers lived so long ago, that I would not consider Harry and Voldemort related. time would have diluted that relationship into obscurity. they shared a common ancestor, but they are not related so to speak.

I noticed that and made a thread about and everbody mocked me, saying they are so distent it doesnt count , and that everybody in one way or another was related to each other.

Yeah. In reality he's probably more closely related to Ron, or Neville, or another pure-blood since there's more of a chance that their family tree connects with the Peverells sooner than, what 300-400 years ago? When was Ignotus alive?

Well yeah, everyone's distantly related because if you stick with the Adam & Eve theory, we all came from the same two parents very far back...
So yeah, I could believe that Voldemort and Harry being related. Probably true.

Or if you don't, we're still all related as we're all ancestors of the first single-celled organism that developed on Earth.
Either way, it's noted that all pureblood families are inter-related because there are so few of them. Ron comes from two pureblood families (Weasleys and whatever his mom's pureblood family was), as does Neville (Longbottoms, and whatever his mother's family was), therefore, Harry is twice as likely to be just as related to either of them or a closer relative than he is to Voldemort.

Trust me, I have found family trees which show Harry and Voldemort related, as well as all of the other pureblood families.
So I support that theory.

but I think that it was so long ago that their trees connected...that they shouldn't be considered related anymore. you are related to somebody you could possibly see at a family reunion, once you fall out of that category, you're not related, you just have a common ancestor.

| it is an actually pretty interesting speculation but if they were as closely related as you might say (which after 300-400 years it would be lost) they Voldemort would get the "protection" that Lily gave Harry and anyone with her blood. |

Ron's Mom is a Prewett remember Fabian and Gideon
but yea they r very distantly related.
