As we know theirs plenty of flirting and stuff between then in the final two books, but how far back does it go? when did you first notice that something might happen between the pair?

thinking about it ron gets pretty jealous in goblet of fire when hermione goes to the yule ball with viktor krum doesnt he. anyone think of any earlier clues...?

i dunno, but when Hermione told Ron he had dirt on his nose on the train in SS... i thought they would be together eventually

Yeah, I kind of got that feeling from SS too. But I really started to suspect in CoS.

The thought occurred to me in Chamber of Secrets, and it was blatantly obvious in Prisoner of Azkaban. I don't get how people could miss that though. Even if you somehow missed it in Prisoner of Azkaban, the hints were screaming at you in Goblet of Fire. Ron ripping up his Krum figure... getting extremely jealous... etc.

The absolute first hint I think I saw was when Ron was angry at Hermione because she had a crush on Lockhart.

Fom SS,when they first met and almost hated eachother and that they werelikeoposites, ron more of a funny while hermione nerdish.

I first noticed in chamber of secrets. Ron worrying about Hermione being petrified, and then mentioning her crush on lockhart.

then i saw the movie and it confirmed it for me.

made me a true r/hr shipper.

they just jack up the films tho they had hints in the 1st movie and they had hints through the rest of the movies

I don't remember any hints from the first movie... they admitted to hinting to it in the 2nd, though, when she shakes his hand instead of hugging him.

I thought that there was always some playfull bickering going on between the two of them.
But I do think it only starting getting serious in GoB.

I actually thought that Ron and Hermione would be together from the beginning. When she was referred to as Mud... by Malfoy, and Ron took up for her...plus her relationship with him was so weird, I had a feeling that they would eventually end up together. He was so weird around her as to not suggest his true feelings, and his doubts were also unsure of Harry's feelings(that being his friend.)..so he kept his feelings at bay..Hermione also had feelings for Ron, but they're verbal exchange suggested the hidden tension.

I think all turned out well...they are all related with good support systems..Oh how I love the Weasleys....Ron Especially

I first noticed in Chamber of Secrets. Hermione instantly hugged Harry yet she shakes Ron's hand (awkward... meaning she didn't want him to think she WANTED to hug him yet she didn't mind with Harry because she knew there was no more than friendship emotions there) and when Ron gets a mad at Hermione for having a crush on Lockhart. Plus how angry Ron got when Malfoy caleld Hermione a mudblood.

its not a spoiler so i dont know why i put it in there, if you are blind and diddnt read any of the rest of this then it is a spoiler but anyways...

does anyone else thing the movies jacked up the relationship a little bit more than intended to from the books? i think the movies went further than the books did just because its a movie.

For me it became obvious when Ron tried to make Draco "Eat slugs" after calling Hermione a mudblood. That was in the second one, right? You really have to ruffle Ron's feathers to anger him that much. Ron is pretty laid-back, but he sees red easily if you offend some one who he REALLY cares about.
