JKR said there something of great importance about Lily was going to come into play in the last book. What's it going to be?

She will appear and give Harry strength to destroy Voldi... or something like that...

I think it has to do with her green eyes. Harry has green eyes, the same eyes as his mother. That is highly significant and everyone notices it so it is bound to finally play a huge role in the seventh book (at least that's what I think).
She has always given Harry strength even though she isn't alive anymore, she is in his soul and his thoughts and it has always helped him. The power of love. The power of her love has helped him. She died to save him, that is so important and actually everything the series is about. Love, Lily's love for James and especially Harry, James's love for Lily that was already there in his fifth year!

Well... I guess that theory about the green eyes is good... I like it... kind of like superman and his x-rayed eyes... ( Laughing

I don't think that it is necessarily her Green Eyes, but that eyes themselves. I don't think the color is that significant.

Well, maybe. For now, only Harry has those same eyes. A lot of people say, "He's got Lily's eyes" , in the book. Maybe that means something more significant? Do Lily's eyes have some sort of power perhaps? Like healing? Question

I think it may have to do with why, at first, Voldemort was willing to let her live on the night he killed Harry.

I can't imagine Lily's eyes will have a particular power (like healing), it's not something that seems to fit into the world JKR has told us about so far- no-one else has special powers to do with parts of their anatomy, do they? However, they are stressed so much I can't help but think they are significant in some way- but I can't think how they could be, really! It'll be interesting to find out, though.

It has already been told to us that we'll find out the significance of Harry having his mother's eyes, but JKR has also mentioned that we will find out an important secret about Lily.

I'm more inclined to think the secret about Lily has more to do with Snape. Plus, we still haven't been told exactly what changed her mind about James Potter; she despised him when they were fifth year students, remember? And Lily appeared to have been kind to Snape at some point before that scene in Snape's Worst Memory. I've read the speculation that Lily and Snape are siblings--and I don't really go for it--but the two of them DID have a particular bond, you can almost bet on that. And I'm willing to believe and support my theory that Lily's secret is Snape-related.

I think that Harry will find out something huge about her and it will effect the way the story ends or the way the story goes.

Maybe it's not about the shape and size of the eyes... but about seeing things like Lily did... to see the world through Lily's eyes.

(And as Lily was a forgiving and caring person, maybe this would mean that Harry becomes friends with Snape or at least forgives him.)

i think the green eyes and lily's aptitude at charms will come out. i hope so coz the boy could do with some help in that area.

i don't think the fact that voldermort took harry's blood will work against harry coz dumbledore smiled at that news he wasn't angry or worried.
