Did anyone else love the kiss in the Deathly Hallows as much as I did?! It's just like all of a sudden, drop the basilisk fangs, BLAM!

It was like fireworks, you know! After everything that had been leading up to it in the book, and even if it was horrible timing it was still so romantical. Very Happy I was so happy that they finally got together. Everyone knew they would, but it was still kind of exciting.

You could tell Hermione loved him when he ran away, it was so sweet, crying every night until he came back...

It's all so romantic! They're so awesome... I'm really glad they got together in the end.



PS: does anyone know how to get pictures in your signature? I've tried HTML code but it doesn't work Crying or Very sad

I agree 100%! It was long over due. I thought it was so cute, the second I read it a big smile came across my face! It was a heart grabbing moment, and I am so happy that they are finally together, it's about time.

Even though that was a great scene, i still think i liked Ginny and Harry's first kiss better.

Spoiler:

To get a little bit off topic, the house elfs didnt join the battle until much later on but i got the impression that they were simply wielding knives and other weapons instead of using their magic which would probably prove much more effective.

Probably... but the whole chucking knifes and other sharp kitchen implements was pretty cool, you gotta admit that.

yeah i have to admit that picturing death eaters with knives through their legs, maybe a bit ironic seeing as how Dobby was stabbed but now its the elfs that are doing the stabbing

i liked when Ron was going to stab the Horcrux with the sword, and the whole thing with the enchantments saying that Hermione liked Harry, because Harry was so much better and stuff.. That was when I knew something was FINALLY happening. and it was cause for a great brotherly-best friends moment with Ron and Harry.



and yes. the kiss was cute.

Total agreement with both of you. The whole destroying-of-the-locket scene was absolutely amazing, JKR couldn't have done a better job with that one.

I thought when Ron came back to join them and Hermione slid out of bed and she was kind of creeping towards him, I thought it could have been a perfect moment for the kiss, instead she beat him up, lol. But I'm so glad they got together! They had 2 kids so they did ALOT more than kiss, GO RON GO! YOUR THE MAN!

I was laughing so much at that bit, especially Harry's reply the way he seemed kinda like ermm Hello? Middle of a War here?

There was a clatter as the basilisk fangs cascaded out of Hermione's arms. Running at Ron, she flung them around his neck and kissed him full on the mouth. Ron threw away the fangs and broomstick he was holding and responded with such enthusiasm that he lifted Hermione off her feet.



How the hell did you miss that?!?!?!?!?
