I think she should stay as well. Changing an actor/actress this far in the series is pretty dumb (Dumbledore was the obvious exception). I for one wouldn't want to see the movie if they changed any of the characters. It just wouldn't feel the same. I don't think the casting directors would do it anyway.

She's not SUPER DUPER RIDICULOUSLY HOT, but she is by no means ugly. I can see Harry falling for her.

She does look young, but the movie won't be out for a while, and time can easily fix that.

Kind of off-topic, but I noticed in the last movie that Hermione was either the same height or taller than Harry. It may have been my eyes playing tricks, but that was kind of funny to me.

I don't think there's anything wrong with her, she's super cute. Man, if I had red hair like that....not fair.

I think bonnie does a great job, considering that the first HP movie was her acting debut. Bonnie makes a great Ginny.

She's not stunningly beautiful for anything like she's supposed to be in the book but make up can always help Smile

Plus she's not that ugly.

In all honesty though, I can't really imagine a STUNNINGLY beautiful girl playing quidditch getting into trouble, attempting theft of an item in the headmasters' office? This is probably why I feel Bonnie is more of a perfect choice.

I agree you can see the difference between 4 and 5 that's for sure.
There is nothing wrong with Bonnie playing Ginny, and I think there is sno need to change her.
As some have said, she hasn't had big parts in the films, how do you all know she can act like Ginny for HBP?
Don't condem her before you've seen the finished product.

ginny looks absolutly fine! she matches her looks from how it describes her in the books, and she IS actually meant to look younger than harry, ron and hermione.

Ginny is FINE the way she is. NOT ALL GIRLS have to be "hot", ESPECALLY to get a boyfriend like Harry. I am a girl and I'm not completely 'perfect' (brown eyed brunette rather than your too typical blue-eyed blonde) but I have a boyfriend who loves me FOR WHO I AM and not for what my body looks like (he doesn't care about looks Rolling Eyes ). Same goes for Ginny, it DOESN'T matter what she looks like. Just as long as she's a sweet, friendly, kind girl who is SOMEWHAT pretty. The first impression counts...not sure if running back up the stairs in shock is quite right, but hey, gotta get a first impression XD!

The actress dosn't need to change. Maybe she was a little slow in development, but that dosn't matter! There are men out there who don't want women for the way they look but for the way they act. Ginny is perfectly fine and if you just look at her eyes, they're pretty darn enchanting. And a WEASLY with BLONDE hair!?!? I don't think so!

Now...Dumbledor...sure, he's a little off, but I like him. I miss the first one though, but the only reason why the movie changed there is because the first actor died Sad .

I think Ginny's appearance suits her quite well. I mean no one in the Weasly family is outstandingly gorgeous/handsome so why would she be? Unless of course the mother had an affair or what not, we won't go there =p.

Ginny is how I pictured her to be, so I think she should stay. She's really cute though very innocent looking which makes her look a few years younger..
[well to me anyway].

But yeah, I bet with makeup they'll make her look older [and hopefully not TOO much makeup because she looks fine the way she is].

I agree, they must keep her as Ginny. She really isn't that bad looking and she fits the book description almost to a tee.

I think that Ginny is completely fine the way she is, the directors of HP have done a fairly good job in casting roles, even though you can't make EVERYONE happy and set everyone to look exactly like everyone....I mean look at Tonks....

All that I'm waiting for is for Ginny to develop her acting skills to the max and for her to grow a bit. I agree, she has been very much ignored in all the HP movies, but I think that given the chance she will do just fine...

and as for her beauty, she's pretty, not burning HOT and I think Harry and her will look way cute together.

Yay, my first post!

Exclamation guys u cant just REPLACE an actor/actress in the harry potter series! its just not right! people see ginny in the movies and thats what she looks like. i mean i was extremely shocked when i saw prisoner of azkaban with the new dumbledore but still replacing ginny is pointless and dumb. Shocked

and the reason why they replaced Dumbledore was because the original died of old age...and he does need to tone it down a little bit to a more softer character cause what I dont like is that he is way too rough..

well i always thought of ginny as a punk chick. by that i meen that if she was a muggle she would probobly go to alot of concerts (in other words she's wild) and as there has never been a big part for her in the movie's, we can hardly say that we need a new one. and besisdes you have to remember that were always looking at ginny from harry's point of view. im sure Ginny is very preaty but she's not the most populer girl in the school.

I am disapointed as a whole with Ginny not because she isn't cute. She is okay. My real issue is the fact that I always thought he would end up with Hermione and then when it became clear that it would not be the case, I got my hopes up about him and Luna Lovegood. I thought they looked cute together. I think Luna is very pretty but they make her seem weirder in the movies than she seems in the books.

Omg that gave me a disturbing mental picture. Lohan attempting a British accent while trying to keep sober...interesting.

I think she was fine in the earlier movies. But she still looks way too young for the roles she's going to be playing in the next couple of movies. Maybe she'll age in appearance a little more? If so I think she'll work out great.
