I think she's rather attractive in her own way, sorry she isn't a blond bimbo.

She's just fine, it would look bad if they replaced her just for better looks anyway.

I think she is fine for the movies. Plus, no one stays "hot" forever. You do get old, and everything sags. XD

Bonnie Wright is fine with me. I would find another player who would play Dumbledore.

i wouldn't call her ugly or anything, but she isn't at all how i've always imagined ginny to be. i just can't see her being this really vivacious, popular chick that so many guys are after. hopefully she'll have grown up a bit before the next film and her relationship with harry won't feel too awkward.

I don't think they need a new Dumbledore I just think he needs to act more like the Dumbledore from the books. In the movies he is a little too harsh. For instance in the Goblet of Fire movie Dumbledore grabs harry by the shoulders after his name comes out of the cup. Dumbledore would never become physical. We don't need a new Dumbledore just a change in his demeanor.

The current Dumbledor is fine. I agree, his acting needs to be a little more light hearted though.

I also think a new Ginny would be a good Idea. The current Ginny isn't too hot so I can't really see her being the girl everyone wants. Of course, the directer might go retarded and change it all to match the actress.

yeah, she didn't get enough in OotP to set up HBP. just a few meaningful looks. I actually thought at some moments in OotP she looked quite pretty. as to whether bonnie can pull of the spirit of ginny...well unfortunately we don't know. we'll just have to wait and see.

The actress who plays Ginny is a beautiful girl but she looks very young. That is the only problem I can find with her. Hopefully she grows and matures in time for the next movie!

Ginny looks fine in the films but then again the makeup used in films can make a person look just absolutely hideous or really hot. I personally think that Bonnie Wright is a pretty good actress for her role as Ginny Weasley and it was only recently (5th-7th books) that the Rowling decided to increase her role. As for her attractiveness, I think it's alright. She's not hot but cute enough so that she can match her description in the book as being popular/guys would want to go out with her. However, I still think she's a little girl, mainly because she's fairly short in the film.

I don't think people would be complaining as much about characters and plot details, (ie: Ginny in this tread), if WB hadn't made the Harry Potter films. I think the films downplay the novels by a lot because it shows you who the characters look like and IMO, it ruins literary work. As a reader, it's often quite hard to imagine the character, as described by the novel, if an image of the actor/actress in the film keeps popping up in your mind.
