There's a whole lot of differences in the movie and the book. I thought i start a place to talk about just that.
I noticed things like...
Harry hugs sirius which it doesnt say that in the book.
No quidditch in the movie (which sucked)
No prefects
Anyone have anything else to add??? _________________

| No Prefects or Quidditch blows. Didn't get to see Hermoine boss all the kids around. I love girls with authority. |

Well, the Vanishing Cabinet in OOTP was just a subtle hint. I doubt it'll effect the plot too much. Probably along the lines of Dumbledore saying; "Very clever of you, discovering a pair of Vanishing Cabinets". |

1) Harry and Cho's Kiss wasnt in Hogsmeade.
2) It was a full-out snog.
3) Sirius was hit by AVADA KEDAVRA. |

1) dumbledore-voldie wand connection
2) professor umbridge only had one "hem-hem" =[
3) it didnt show what it looked like for hermione, ron, neville, and ginny to be flying to england on the invisible horses _________________

Yeah, I was anticipating the scene of seeing Hermione, Ron and the lot just flying through the air with the invisible creatures between their legs..... but I didn't get to see it.
I thought that if you read the book BEFORE the movie You'd be highly disappointed.
I hated the way that the scenes just jumped around from place to place, leaving out cruicial parts from the book.
It's still one of my favourtie movies of the lot so far, but some of the things that they had cut out really should have been given a mention. _________________

I thought the movie was pretty good, considering this was the longest book. I really missed the Quidditch ("Weasly is our King" ) and i also missed the whole thing about "Kreacher lied" and Harry's anger in Dumbledore's office "I DON'T CARE ANYMORE, I WANT OUT, I'VE HAD ENOUGH!"Yea the book's definitely better than the movie, but i still think they did a great job with the movie and i really enjoyed it:) and will watch it a zillion times like all the others! _________________ RON: You try putting up tinsel when Peeves has got the other end and is trying to strangle you with it.

I thought that was so silly..obviously that is impossible right?
And in the book the ROR is always in the same spot; in the movie it seems to move around. _________________

| I prefer the book a lot more, but I prefer the book to pretty much anything over the movie these days. I think that this movie was hard to make without cutting out a few small details, but they did cut out a lot that was important, and that annoyed me. |

i wish they had put in the Weasley is our king thing.
If Ron plays quiddich in the next movie it's gonna be like, "when did he get on the team?" I wonder how they are going to handle it. _________________

I didn't really like that they gave Cho the dirty deed of telling on Dumbledore's Army in the movie.
It was interesting that we met Luna on in the carriage instead of on the train. I've always wondered, if the thestrals are always there, why don't people ever bump into them? If people who can't see them can ride them, I'd imagine they'd notice if they walked around the carriage and bumped into a leathery invisible creature! |

There was a lot more that could've been done to make the movie even better though it pretty good with how it was done... there's just too much in the book that should be in the film corresponding to it. _________________

| Worst HP movie yet. As the above said, no prefects or quiddich. They were two good parts of the book. Movie skipped way too much. Shortest movie yet for the longest hp book? Does not work. A 3 hour movie would of been nice. |

Hmm hmm. Where is the statue of the Ministry?
Hmm hmm. Since when Harry can use n-vbl's? He does barely speak at his fight alongside with Sirius against Dolohov and Rookwood.
Hmm hmm. Where is St. Mango?
Hmm hmm. Where is Emmeline Vance, Hestia Jones and the rest of the people in the movie?
Hmm hmm. Where is Snape's worst memory? Because this ... thing they said it is Snape's worst memory will soon be my worst memory too.
Hmm hmm. Where is Dumbledore's-Voldemort's Apparition-fire-apparition duel?
Hmm hmm. Now Cho gave DA in? Yeeeah.
Hmm hmm. Where is the DA anyway?
Hmm hmm. Where is Quiddich?
Hmm hmm. Hmm hmm...
