nice art, but that would be the young Sirius wouldn't it? The older Sirius as described in the book had wild matted hair, a sunken skull, yellow teeth, etc. Basically your normal maniac looking dude.

Yep, that'd be young Sirius (since Regulus is still alive in it, and looking rather fine, I might add Cool).

Though fortunately the damage wasn't fully permanent, since it says in... GoF, I think, that he already looked much closer to the Sirius in the wedding photo, or whichever picture it was that Harry had of him.

The sirius is the movie looked good, for someone who just got out of Azkaban.

i thought that the character was portrayed well in the film but i thought that his death was not true to the book. while they did mute all the noise and slow things down i dont think that his body resembled the "graceful arch" that was described in the book and harrys anticipation for his return on the other side was not evident. i know that the movie cannot always be true to the book but little things like that do annoy me, it would have been easy to do and would have looked better anyway

he was pretty accurate to my mental picture although i didnt imagine him looking that skinny and shallow-faced. the books said he was but only after his immediate escape from azkaban

Yeah, I agree with the more handsome thing... but considering he'd been in Azkaban for years when the actor first came into the picture, I think it was a pretty good portrayal of him after Azkaban

I pictured Sirius like the one on the movies just younger and less wrinkly. He's only like 35 (thats how old JK said that Lupin was) Lupin wasn't what i pictured really but i like him better in the movies Smile but in both cases the actors deffinatly portray their personalities very well i think.

i agree...i think the way they muted evrything and put the music in the background was closer made it sorta more comical than sad. And did they put "There's nothing you can do Harry, nothing....he's gone." in the movie? i dont think i remember hearing it

As mentioned earlier, I imagined Lupin very differently than how he was portrayed in the movies.

I also imagined Sirius to look younger, but now I love this Sirius because he does fit the character perfectly and I do not think they could have done better because you do have to keep in mind he came out of Azkaban and is in hiding so it doesnt really matter how he looks..... and to your question about Lupin and Tonks... I can totally see them together i think it is rather cute!

Well, the casting for Sirius wasnt too bad, and neither was Lupin's, but him and Tonks just dont look like they would get together...
i mean, she looks alot younger than him!

but i also imagined he would be much more muscular, and the sirius in the movie is kinda shrimpy... so i guess i didnt really think of the sirius in the movie.
