i have been away from harry potter for a while.(not the books) and i forgot when HP 5 came out when does it come out?

Yeah it's like not even 5 days from being released by the ticker's that are counting down the movie and book.

Technically you can do see it at 11:59 p.m. Tuesday night, so it's really close to being officially released. I'll be going Wednesday evening! Can't wait, it's going to be an awesome movie experience.

Yes they moved it up 2 days quite sometime ago. It's been July 11th for at least 2 months if I remember right.

They've already had multiple premiers of the movie in several European countries, including England and France. U.S. premiere is either today or tomorrow or something like that in Los Angeles.

I dont know if my theatre in town will get it wednesday or friday...they didn't get pirates until friday and that came out on wednesday. either way I might not see it until that sunday. I always go with my family but with my mom's new job its hard to find a time we can all go. We might be able to go friday night if it comes out wednesday though, but I doubt it. saturday is out of the question. I'm going to be so behind on the talk and squeeage about the movie Sad

Actually Pirates 3 came out at 8 PM on Thursday, I saw the opening show.

It wasn't scheduled to come out until that Friday but like literally 7 days prior to the Friday release, they started airing commercials that it would be released at 8 PM on Thursday.

I guess they were trying to get more of people than might have just gone to the midnight showing but if they wouldn't have brought it out till 4 hours later and did the midnight showings their weekend numbers would have been more comparable to Spiderman 3's opening weekend and not behind Shrek's 3-day opening weekend count.

Oh well, the money is all the same no matter what day you get it, I just like to see the big opening weekends.

i saw a comercial today and it said it comes out on the 13th

Well it must be old, I promise you it's the 11th, at least for the U.S. release. U.K.'s might be different, I don' know, I don't keep up with U.K. as I don't live there.

yeah its the eleventh when it is released. and pirates came out on tuesday at 8 pm, i went to see it then ^^.

I'm just getting irritated because the person who made this topic asked a very simple question and I answered it with the right answer and then people continue to post things that contradict it. It's not just this post either, it's all over the forum. If someone posts a question and the thread is already several posts long, I think someone should feel the obligation to read through some of the posts to see if there has been an answer rather than posting wrong information.

Sorry, but it infuriates me when people post wrong information when the correct answer has already been posted.

If people can't read, then they won't be offended by me getting mad. Cool

Again I'm sorry but the internet is an unlimited resource of information and it's not that hard to research an answer like this. What it comes down to is I just have no patience for people that refuse to use common sense.

I practice it, trust me, just some people know how to put me to the ultimate test, lol.

I'm not really mad, it's just baffles me what people say sometimes. Not pertaining to this thread per say, but just all over this forum. I continue to be amazed by the lack of information.

I guess I just figured most self proclaimed HP fans know things that I know, I guess that is being presumptuous.

I only mean by that, that I'm not the foremost authority on HP and it just seems like some people are so ill-informed about the simplest things.
