The previews for the movie make it seem like it is all about Dumbledore's Army. Like it says The Rebellion Begins July 11th, and it shows Harry talking. It shows like 1 scene of them in the Ministry, and it is just them running.

The book is more about going to the Ministry, Harry and his visions with Voldemort. More of that than the rebellion to the Ministry. So, I bet they are going to cut a lot out to make it seem like all they care about is Dumbledore's Army.

No I don't think it makes it seem like that. The actual theatrical trailer seems to have a fairly good mix of every location and we know that they are in the ministry for at least 20 minutes as the final scenes in IMAX will be in 3-D for the last 20 minutes including the DD vs. Voldemort fight.

And they don't got to the ministry till the very end so I wouldn't say that's what the book is totally about. A lot of it is about Umbridge and the DA.

I've seen about 4 different versions of the commericals on tv. Trailers, commercials, posters... and hardly any of it even mentioned the D.A. In fact there was no mnetion of it except for how the rebellion begins... and remember it's not just the members of the D.A. that rebel... the Order is a full on rebellion. The D.A. is like the junior form of the Order. The book is not about the final scene in the Ministry. It's more about rebelling... questioning authority, wrking together and fighting for what's right. Not about getting lured into a trap and getting attacked. The final scene wouldn't have happened if Umbridge hadn't taken away the students civil liberties and cut off their communication to the outside world. Otherwise Harry and friends would have been able to contact the adults and DD wouldn't have gotten kicked out and al of that. They would have been able to resolve the issue of whether or not Voldemort had Sirius. Instead, oldemort was able to take advantage of their situation and lure Harry into a trap. So yes, the story in OotP is more about the rebellion than those final moments because without the rebellion there would have been no final fight scene.

Well the trailer I am talking about, all it shows is images from the DA and like Harry talking about teaching them spells.

Not the trailer's I've seen. It shows that but it isn't the whole 2 minutes focused on it, not at all.

It seems me and you are always talking about two different things.... Rolling Eyes

I'm talking about the official Theatrical Trailer that was released over a month ago, not the 10 second spots on TV.

It seems every time I don't agree with you, we are talking about two different things. Rolling Eyes

Roll your eyes as many times as you want.

I can't help it any more than you can about this.

But, back on topic. The trailer where it pretty much just shows the D.A., that is what I am talking about. But, I don't think I should base my judgement on the movie from this trailer. I am sure it will be fine and have everything that it needs to have.

I agree with HRH, the trailers i've seen and the game(definetly)seem centred mostly around the DA.
