is there any chance that there will be an 8th book?
even after a while. do you think jk rowling will miss writing and continue the series of harry outside of school???

I don't think she will.

If she wants to keep writing, she should start another series. Do you know how much money she would make? People would be going crazy!

I think she meant she wasn't going to do that. That is what she meant by an 8th book.

If she does... it will be years down the road like ten years or twenty. I think that she is just so fed up with writing the same story...

I don't want her to write another Potter
book with story to it. The encyclopedia she
wants to write is gonna be cool though.
I tjust think if she writes another story,
she'll be kind of overdoing it.

She def. isn't going to write another one. She's had the whole series pretty much mapped out since the beginning and it ended pretty much as she had planned in book 7. I do think she'll start a new series, one that has nothing to do with wizards though, if i had to guess (she's pretty much covered that genre) we do have Potterpedia to look forward to though. Smile

I don't think that she will. However, we can look forward to the Encyclopedia that she is thinking to write. That should be fun and should tie up any loose ends.

I reallythink she won't... Not that i don't want her not to or anything, it's just that she has written 7 already, and has been interviewed and she tells everyone what happens when they grow up and what jobs everyone has.

maybe she will write a new series about the children, you know like the 2nd generation. rose, hugo, albus, james and lilly. cause that would be really interesting, plus we would know what has happened in the wizarding world.

there isn't going to be an 8th Harry Potter book from what i know since the HP series is over finished

Yeah I think she'll right a new series that sort of continues on from DH, but of course, or it'd have to be called : Harry Potter and the Troubles of Parenting, or something weird like that.

Actually, I have something to say about that.

Today in the paper, there was an article that JKR was thinking of an 8th book, but Harry will NOT be the central character. Of course, we can expect this in oh, about ten years or so...

If there's going to be a 8th book, I don't wanna hear more about Harry's kids, because I don't know them. I wish to hear more about the past, about Lily, James, Sirius, Peter, Lupin and Snape. I really enjoyed reading at the past. I want more of that! Very Happy
