What is the difference between the two? Couldn't you just apparate anywhere you wanted to go? What would you do with Disapparte? Discuss!

Apparate is the disappearing part, disapparate is the appearing part. At least thats how it works out in my head. It could be the other way around though...

So you are apparating and disapparting all in one? That makes no sense to me.

No. You could just apparate everywhere. I just thought that Apparate took you somewhere, and Disapparte did the same thing.

They're pretty much the same thing.
If you're leaving, you could say "I'm disapparating" or you could say "I'm apparating to (somewhere)" and they wouldn't be any different.
Like appearing and disappearing.
It appeared here. It disappeared.
If you're apparating, you're going somewhere.
That didn't make very much sense.
Oh well.

Basically, they're the same thing.
That's all that matters.
Or. I disapparated - I left somewhere..
I apparated - I went somewhere.
I give up. Stop confusinggg meeee.

yeah...like a magician might disappear from one spot, and the appear somewhere else on the stage. It's the same action, but its in two parts.

Okay so.
Like, with disapparating, you could just say you disapparated, meaning you left.
But with apparating, a destination is stated or implied.

Disapparating = leaving
Apparating = coming.

Okay, now I really give up.
You're hurting my brain.
