I know it is really minor, but meh-
In the first chapter of GoF, Voldemort tells Wormtail,-
"I will allow you to perform an essential task for me, one that many followers would give their right hands for"
And in the end, he did lose his right hand! Again, its unimportant, but anybody who was reading it for the first time wouldn't notice it.

I'm not sure if it was actually his right hand... Could be left, since he still used his wand, unless he was lefty.

yesh, my teacher pointed that out to us. well, jkr is literal and figurative. that is what i love about her. she combines both.

Actually it does come up again in OotP, when they are in the dept of Mysteries.

Yeah, he sees a model of Uranus (the planet).

Pls, he gets kind of close to Lavender in the Sixth book.
