Lilith turned her head slightly then the Cruciatus curse hit her.
She fell to her knees, screaming and clenching her fists.
"Stop it!" She yelled. "Please, stop!"

JOE ASHTER
Joe shut his eyes again when he heard Voldemort cry out the Cruciatus Curse, knowing who it was intended for. He heard Lilith's scream before Voldemort had lifted the spell, and everything was quite except for Lilith's sobs. Opening his eyes but refusing to make eye contact with Voldemort, he said, "Let her go and I'll whatever you say..."
VOLDEMORT
That last Cruciatus released Voldemort's anger that when he lifted the curse, he turned to Joe and smirked. "I can't really guarantee that you'll do whatever I say just because I'll let her go, Joe. No, no. I need to be absolutely sure you won't deceive me." He narrowed his eyes at the boy. "I need you to show me what you can do now before I'm forced to put her through hell again," he added.
JOE ASHTER
Joe looked at Voldemort, a look of hate etched across his face before he saw the man's wand aimed at Lilith. He was still panting, but it seemed like he had no choice. Wrenching his arm from Snape's grip, Joe took a cautious step forward before he began undoing the bandage around his left forearm. _________________
Lilith stopped crying and felt soft fur press against her. Tak ... she must have finished with Malfoy. She stroked the panther's ears and looked at Voldemort.
She was too exhausted to be angry anymore and the realisation that she was only a child and was defensless against him suddenly came crashing down on her. She crawled about a metre away, clinging to Tak.

JOE ASHTER
Joe shut his eyes as he undid the bandage, hearing Lilith speak. "I'm not going to forgive myself if you're in pain because of me, Lilith. It's alright," he said, opening his eyes once he was done before his eyes shot over to Voldemort. He non-verbally spoke the incantation before he glowed a bright color orange as he held up his left forearm, which was burnt rather badly before it engulfed itself in flames.
Joe looked at it for a moment before he asked, "What do you want me to demonstrate on?" _________________
Lilith groaned and ran her fingers through her hair. Strength was coming back to her and all she wanted to do was attack Voldemort ... but the knowlege that he could easily kill her still pressed heavily down on her.
She got to her feet with Tak's help and glared at Voldemort.

"This girl and her panther would be a fine start," Voldemort said venomously. "She's starting to irritate me," he added, his hand shaking to control himself.

"Sorry, but I can't do that. That would be against my principles," Joe replied rather calmly. Of course, there's always the alternative-"
VOLDEMORT
"If you plan on attacking me, boy, you must surely realize who's behind you," Voldemort told the boy, nudging his head to Severus.
JOE ASHTER
Joe took a glance behind him to find that Snape had aimed his wand at him. Joe smirked before turning his attention back to Voldemort. "I really don't find Snape a real threat. But since you are..." Joe pointed his flaming palm to Voldemort before deliberately altering its angle before sending a powerful fire blast to the wall. _________________
Voldemort pointing out that Snape was still there set Lilith thinking. MAlfoy was already down, Voldemort only had Snape at his side now. What would he really be like alone? Then it would be two against one.
She glanced at Voldemort, changed into a large black dog and darted around Joe to Snape.
She snarled, advancing on him and thinking, Oh, I've been waiting to do this for a long time ...

SEVERUS SNAPE
Snape watched the conversation between Voldemort and Joe, widening his eyes at the power Joe had released, scraping just past Voldemort before it hit the wall. He had also wanted to keep an eye on Lilith, in case she did anything else reckless. But when he averted his eyes back to where she was supposed to be, she was gone. He turned to his right and saw a black dog approaching him.
Like father like daughter... he said, sighing inwardly before quickly performing a powerful Stunning Charm on the dog before stepping out of harm's way with a slight smirk before he watched Lilith collapse to the ground. Reckless as her father, I see...

Joe smiled as he lowered his hand, eyeing Voldemort before he caught at the corner of his eye the movement of something black. Before he could completely figure out what had happened, he heard Snape cry out a Stunning spell before he saw Lilith - in Animagus form - collapse to the ground. _________________

As Lilith fell unconcious her last thought was, Slimey git!
As she lay there she changed back into her human form, but her eyes remained closed.

VOLDEMORT
Voldemort was stunned for a moment at the immense power Joe gave off before excitement overpowered this as he stepped forward. "Powerful indeed..." he muttered to himself before turning to Joe and said, "Now boy, I want you to join my side. Great things will be in store for you if you agree, I'll assure you."
JOE ASHTER
Joe was left to think for a long while before he eyed Voldemort and smirked, holding up his palm. "Now that's something I'll never agree to, I'm afraid. The least I can do now is this..." he had been charing his energy in his hand, obvious from the bright light emitted by the hand before he released it, sending Voldemort off his feet and to the far wall. Lowering his hand, he turned back to Lilith and Snape and said, "C'mon, we need to get out of here now!"
SEVERUS SNAPE
Snape had to force himself not to gape his mouth when Joe had blasted Voldemort to the wall before he was brought back to his senses when Joe had told them to get out of here. He was still part of the Order, after all. He nodded. "Your two friends should still be downstairs if they haven't escaped yet," he told the boy.
JOE ASHTER
Joe looked over to Snape before he nodded. "Alright. I'll go down to the dungeons and get them out. Please take care of Lilith..."
SEVERUS SNAPE
"Wait. You'll be needing this," Snape said, holding out Joe's wand to him. "I will go ahead and bring Miss Black here to Headquarters. I will expect that you head back there as soon as you've collected the two brothers and have made it out to Hogsmeade to Disapparate," he explained calmly, eyeing the Dark Lord carefully.

Joe looked Snape in the eyes and smiled before taking his wand from the man and nodded over to him. "Don't worry... We'll be alright..." With that, Joe turned and ran out of the Great Hall, doing quick Stunning spells to any Death Eater he passed as he made his way down to the dungeon. _________________
Lilith's eyes flickered open. Where was she? She didn't understand what had happened.
There had been Voldemort and Snape and Tak had attacked Malfoy and Joe was there. What about after that? She must have got knocked out.
"Nn ..." She mumbled. "My head hurts ... Where's Joe?" She didn't even know who she was talking to since she was too busy looking at a cut on her hand. She must have sliced her hand when she fell. _________________ Name: Lilith Willow Black

"He's gone down to the dungeons to retrieve the Wolgroth brothers. For now, we need to make for Headquarters before my Lord stirs from Joe's last attack," Snape replied, shuffling in his pockets before extracting a leather stringbag. He opened it and took out a particular potion and handed it to her. "Drink this and you should feel better from today's events, Miss Black. Now I suggest we make haste or Joe's efforts will go to waste." _________________
Lilith stared at Snape for a moment in shock. Why hadn't he killed her?
She threw his potion back at him and got to her feet.
"I don't know what the hell is wrong with you," She spat. "but I'm pretty sure you are sick in the head. And what Headquaters are you talking about, your filthy Death Eaters or the Order? It doesn't matter, I'm going to find Joe ..."
Tak had changed back into her black house-cat form, so Lilith picked her up, glared once more at Snape and strode towards the doors. _________________ Name: Lilith Willow Black

SEVERUS SNAPE
Snape caught the bottle with ease when it was thrown back at him before slipping it back into his bag and kept it in his robe pockets. Anger was boiling inside of him. This is what I get for being nice to a student... he thought to himself angrily before he swiftly went after Lilith and when he reached her, took a firm hold of her arm before forcing her to face him. His face was white with rage but he controlled it.
"Now you listen to me, Black. I'm taking you to the Order's Headquarters for your own well-being, and you would do well to cooperate. Joe will be alright now that he has his wand back. Yes, believe it or not, I am on your side, so you would do well not to test my patience by being stubborn." _________________
By now the Wolgeth brothers had taken down the two gaurds when Joe came walking up. "It helps to skills in steelthy attacks appart from Majic. Can you how long it took us pick those locks. Without waiting for a reply from Lilith, Snape took her by the arm and practically dragged her out to Hogsmeade. There was a tensed silence between them before they were past the gates. He Disapparated with Lilith to Grimmauld Place.
Upon arriving, Snape entered the house, practically shoving Lilith past him before closing the door.

Joe was a bit relieved to see Nathan and his brother safely out. Catching his breath, he looked around before approaching one of the unconscious Death Eaters and searched their robes before producing two wands before straightening up. He turned to the brothers and held them out. "At least that's saved me any trouble... C'mon, we need to get out while we have the chance. Voldemort and Malfoy are incapacitated for the moment." He led them out of the castle, making their way to Hogsmeade. _________________
Lilith stood right next to the door, looking mournfully around the hall. She hated this house, like her father, but her reason was different from Sirius'. Grimmauld Place reminded her only of him.
She turned to Snape, feeling like she would cry.
"Let me out!" She demanded. "You have no right to keep me here and I want to go home!" She actually didn't have a home anymore. She usually just curled up in a hole in the wall down a street close by with some blankets, but he didn't know that ... did he? _________________ Name: Lilith Willow Black

SEVERUS SNAPE
Snape watched Lilith, demanding to let her out. He didn't move from his place. He was still a little worried about Joe and the Wolgeth brothers. He needed to make sure that they were safe before he needed to return to the Dark Lord.
Narrowing his eyes in annoyance, he said, "I understand how you feel about this place, but there is no point of letting you leave. This is for your well-being, and I will not be held responsible for any rash actions you will do. Just wait until Joe and the others return... I'm sure you'd rather be in their company than in mine."

Just barely passing the gates, Joe chanced a look back to find the Wolgeth brothers were right behind him, without anyone following after them. Once they had all stepped out of Hogwarts grounds, Joe directed them to apparate to Grimmauld Place. A few moments later, Joe walked up to the house before tapping his wand on the door, hearing the locks click back before he entered, letting Nathan and Ranorin in before closing the door promptly. _________________
Lilith looked at Joe and the Wolgeth brothers as the came in and closed the door, but other than that she ignored them.
"I'm going to my dad's room." She announced, sounding disgusted with the lot of them. She stormed up the stairs, setting off the portrait of her dead grandmother.
"SHUT UP GRANDMA!" Lilith screamed. The rage in her voice seemed to quieten the portrait - but only for a moment. _________________ Name: Lilith Willow Black

Joe watched Lilith for a moment before announcing that she was going to her father's room, setting off a wailing portrait that was Sirius Black's mother. Hurrying forward to get the curtain back over it, he beckoned Snape to help him as they managed to cover the portrait up again before heaving a sigh of relief.
Joe turned to Snape for a moment before saying, "What happened with her?"
SEVERUS SNAPE
Snape eyed Joe before replying, "She didn't want to be here because it reminded her of her father." He paused for a moment before continuing, "Can we talk in private for a while?" _________________
Lilith sat on her father's bed for a few minutes, crying a little. She soon began to realise that she couldn't stand it in the bedroom more than downstairs. She wiped her eyes and trotted back downstairs without waking any of the portraits this time.
She walked to the kitched and sat down at the long table. Her thoughts drifted to Voldemort and that Cruciatus curse. She had been so scared at the time, but she was just angry again now. _________________ Name: Lilith Willow Black

Joe eyed Snape for a long moment before nodding. "Sure... Come into the library..." he gestured to the door not far away as he pushed it open and stood aside for the man to enter. At the corner of his eyes, Joe saw Lilith coming back downstairs. Opting not to disturb her, he went inside and closed the door behind him. "What did you want to talk about?"
SEVERUS SNAPE
"First of all, I'd like to inquire if you're well, Joe. I must tell you now that it was necessary that I-"
JOE ASHTER
Joe leaned back on the door just after closing it, panting before he slowly sank to the floor, cutting Snape off in mid-sentence. Wearily turning to the man, he said, "I knew you had to do it... But any discussion on the matter needs to be continued when I'm feeling just a little bit better, Severus..." With that, Joe closed his eyes out of exhaustion.
SEVERUS SNAPE
Moving forward to Joe after he had shut his eyes, Snape moved the boy out of harm's way and wrenched the door open. Looking around, he practically glided into the kitchen to find Lilith there. "Where can Mr. Ashter stay to rest for a while? He's collapsed out of exhaustion and he needs to lie down properly." _________________
